Narc0, I'm relieved to hear that MiL has no broken bones.
    GWS vibes to dancemum.
Glad you're feeling better today, pigpen.

I finished off a big transcription job (unpaid!) this afternoon so that is out of the way. Apart from that, I haven't achieved a great deal that I can cross off my list.

DH went out at 4.30 to go and play trains - on a Murder Mystery diner - and I'm not expecting him back until the witching hour.
I've been out to the church Quiz'n'Chips evening. I ended up in a team with another of the Old Wives, a married couple, and a young man from the neighbouring church. We turned out to be the dream team :rotfl: - with a closely fought contest right up to the last round, we came out on top as clear winners and walked off with 4 bottles of wine between us. The funny thing is that none of us drink, so the next bottle stall will benefit four times over! I shall go to the garden centre and buy myself a new hellebore tomorrow in celebration - a much longer lasting prize :D

Stay in your own beds tonight, Little Moos!

    See you all tomorrow....

    Morning all.

I had planned to be up at 6am and to get stuff done. However my alarm didn't go off. I think I've fixed it now, but we'll see tomorrow morning. Just turfed DD out of bed with a little help from Zack so now it's on to getting some jobs done around the house. First thing, clearing out the fridge, making an inventory of what I've got in it and the freezer then attacking the food cupboard. Meal planning/shopping list writing while I wait for a customer to knock for her order and then out to Mr Al & Mr A possibly. It all depends on how little I can get away with buying today as I'd rather go when its quieter tomorrow.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Morning all. We've had real computer and phone problems here which have kept me away for a couple of days. Now using work pc which I prefer not to for personal stuff but hey ho.

Hope everyone is ok as I've not had time to read back.

DH has just popped into work for a while so I'm going to quickly hoover through. He hates the noise. Then dog walk, weather permitting.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Children given a stern talking to this morning about mummy needing rest. I'm sure they've no idea how much I have on at the moment, I really can't afford to burn out. Both out of bed, again :( warnings have been given. All bedtime snacks removed, books etc in case any of that is causing the problems. DD has always been a mare but not DS. Yet he's been up every night through the holidays.

Found DD tankini, much better for swimming, we have to get them ready before we get there - limited changing space as its in a school - and she always needs the loo :o much better in separates than a one-piece.

Kitchen cleaned, DW emptied, looking good downstairs. Right, I'd better get dressed - we'll be out the rest of the day...
