Morning,

Blowing a gale here and raining too.
Woke up to that annoying beep of a smoke alarm's battery dying.
Couldn't decide which one it was coming from as have a few plus 2 carbon monoxide detectors. Took wrong battery out and then discovered it was a carbon monoxide detector that was beeping. At least it didn't happen in middle of night like it usually does!
Got DD's cat to see to this afternoon and tomorrow. Don't expect he will venture far today. DD says if it is really wet outside he still uses the litter tray (don't blame him)
Hope weather isn't too bad for everyone else.
Be lucky and if you happen to see the comping fairy remind her I am still here please (and have eye on another Forest Lodge break win, pretty please )

Morning, It's wet here but stopped raining at the moment. No wind out so can cope with that.Know what you mean about the beeping sheils, first time it happened to me was in the middle of the night. Thought it was the phone downstairs so came down and found it wasn't. Went all round the house till i found it was the smoke detector in the passage..lol
Good news about your sons cafe..word of mouth spreads fast and people will come.

Yesterday GS was sick after school so I came over to DD1s this morning so she could go into work. Thought it was cold outside so put on very warm clothing to find it was really mild. Just made a coffee here and it's sunny.
GS looks a bit peeky but is ok insists in staying in his PJs.

Sheils we had that with carbon monoxide monitor recently at least it wasn't at night like Indies. Your DS2 will go from worrying about customers to being able to offer a good service. Great news.

Indie well done on a great win plus the voucher brilliant to be able to choose. Thanks for the tip about the film.

Alfie just remembered yesterday I nearly went in for some gardening competition and then stopped myself thinking prize was for serious gardeners like Alfie. Odd thing is I thought I would take up gardening when I retired and my leaving present was gardening vouchers but all I do is try to maintain some semblance of order.

Firefly maybe it's time to sprinkle fairy dust to grant some wishes in the Inn.

Afternoon peeps. It is freezing here. Went out to put rubbish in bin and had a slip. Hate cold weather. No snow but I think ice is worse. Postie brought me a book. DS is coming here after work to collect food batch. Kidywinks want soup lol think they would live on it if they had the choice. Ds's friend is going to collect some for his freezer as well. At least he only has more or less next door to take it. Hope everyone is well.
