Well done Rose on Gin win and Firefly on mouse.

We brought GS home with us last night as he was much better but had to stay off school 48 hours. He was better anyway.

It rained most of the day here and was cold. When DD1 came home she said it was snowing. She lives half an hour away and they had a lot more snow there. DS had quite a lot of snow down in Kent this evening.

Hope you don't have too much snow Rose. It's the ice afterwards that's a big problem. Still I'm sure like Sylvia you are stocked up.

Hope your daughter's journey home was ok Sheils.

Think you had the right idea Indie with Pj day. Hope it's not so cold tomorrow. We dont have to go out tomorrow thank goodness. Hopefully a quiet day.

Good Morning,

Hope everyone is OK and not snowed in or anything.
Supposed to be a nice day here. Didn't book our night at Darlington as
so many scare stories about snow. Don't think they got any but forecast is for rain on Sunday and have lost the cheap rate so will just have a night at Gateshead on Monday (IHG sale). Have got us a 50% off mains at Bella Italia voucher so will eat there.
Poor DD came back from a snowy Glasgow to find their heating wasn't working so not happy. It was on when we were down feeding her cat.

Glad your GS is feeling better leanfun.

Thanks FF, not the time not to have heating.
Well done on soup win. :T Have had several attemps at it but no luck. Won it last time after 100s of attemps.

Well done Firefly on soup win.

Sheils hope your DDs heating has a simple solution. On Wednesday round our DD1 the heating went off. When DD came home she couldn't get it back on either so we took GS home with us. Later she phoned to say she found a tiny reset button on the temperature control and had it back on.

Cold here but fine just a bit of snow on some cars still.

Love the pics but they do make me think brrr...

Weeny bit of snow here, hardly any and it's now disappeared
- looking beautiful - blue sky and sunshine - may get out in
the garden later on.

Does anyone worry about the date today? Have to say I've
always taken Friday the 13th with a pinch of salt - but
the gremlins finally caught up with me this morning! :eek:

My computer crashed when I was putting the finishing
touches (faffing) to my morning Alphabetty post. Luckily
I'd saved a good chunk of the post yesterday evening but
all the same - so frustrating!

Also had a great image to put in with the part about
Triskaidekaphobia - yesterday evening it looked fine - this
morning it had suddenly become encrypted! :eek: Tried
putting it on every which way to no avail. Reckon it's quite
a popular image that peeps use today and the company had
wised up about it. :whistle:

Thanks for pic FireFly made me smile. It's very dark here now. Awhile ago we had what DD called pathetic snow then real snowflakes think it's rain now.

Wow sorry to hear about you're gremlins on Friday 13th Alfie.

Well I've caught up with ironing better do something else here. Neighbour's have lights on.
