Good Morning,

Wet morning here but rain moving south east according to forecast so hopefully dry up so we can get out later.
Not doing much today except maybe the dreaded ironing and some comps. Been planning our breaks throughout the year but DS1 not being helpful as he says he will either be coming over at beginning of June or mid August. "Thinks" it will be August as he wants to take his gf to the Edinburgh Festival. Have made extended bookings for April, July and Sept in meantime with few Village Hotel sale bookings at other times. Have got to avoid birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day .......
Anyone else booking anything?

Hoping not to get any snow FF, seldom do but occaisonally takes us by surprise. We get more than our share of rain though.

Now to get some comps done. Good luck everyone.

Morning everyone. Bit dull here this morning but not too cold. See we have snow forecast for the end of the week (Thursday/Friday). Not booking anything at the moment shiels. Will have to get ironing board out as well as I have a case full washed and mostly dried. Will not need the clothes again for a while but at least they will be ready again for when Mr Sunshine puts in an appearance. Will have to get some food shopping today so deciding whether to do an online shop or head to supermarket. Hope everybody is well.

I spent another night sleeping on top of the bed as I was too warm again! (I wonder if it's the change! ) We are due for snow by end of week too Rose which I'm dreading! I just hate it when it's slippy outside.

I haven't booked anything for this year Sheils. The kids said they would like to go to Blackpool again rather than abroad but DH hates BPool so looks like it's just me & the kids! I love it though as there's lots to do for them.

That surprise gift looked lovely fire**fly, it must have been the one I saw. Shame you didn't get one, them ginger biscuits looked delish :drool:

Hope everyone else is well and fingers crossed for wins this week.
We've got the workmen finally doing the roads around us this week. It's very noisy and really messy though. Our drive is full of tarmac so hope it comes up ok! At least they are finally doing the roads though as we were all sick of things going wrong with car tyres etc.
I've been waiting for the school to phone since Friday regarding DS. I've called a number of times but they haven't phoned back yet again! They are getting son mixed up just like they did with DD when she was there with another student with similar name. They were putting him in consequence room when it was this other kid from another year group so not sure what is happening yet. I sooo hate that school!

O'h that school is so dreadful wingo. I thought ours was bad!
Glad you are getting roads fixed. To be fair our gas guys left the roads fine although looking like patchwork quilts they had dug up so many of them.
We love Blackpool (you might have noticed) and you can use Tesco vouchers for so many attractions too including the zoo.

It has gone very dark here and we have just had a shower of hailstones. Does not feel that cold? Wingo that school sounds dreadfull. Think I would be camping on their doorstep until they sorted things out.

Still very mild here but we've got that 'orrible fine rain going
on at the mo - so very pleased that I went out to the garden to
potter around yesterday and didn't leave it until today! It's
looking a tad wet outside.

Sounds as if a lovely evening at the theatre was had by all
leanfun. :T Well done too on your Tru Diamond voucher 'win'
- you bagged a brilliant bargain using it! :j

Bet you can't wait for the day when DS leaves. :j I should
think you've been tearing your hair out with their bloomin'
continual ongoing errors. :eek: (Could have put what I
really think of them but have no wish to be banned. )

Goodness nipped over to local shop for some bread and cold meat for a sandwich and it is freezing now. Dark sky has gone so don't need lights on anymore. Looks like it is going to be an online shop for me as I hate the cold and am feeling it a bit more after time in sun.
