It's another beautiful weather start to the day here -



lovely 'n fresh out too - just been out in the garden for
a wander around to see what I can be getting up
to out there today!



Phew .... you bagged yourself some brilliant bargains
yesterday rose with the Yankee candles, chocs and
Magnum ice lollies! :T

Must admit I'm just the same - love bargains and money
off deals! :T

Well done on receiving a little parcel of shampoos wingo! :T

I do hope it all works out ok for your brother and his family
re their holiday - such a shame especially after all he's
been through! Fingers 'n paws crossed for a good outcome.

Must admit, as soon as I saw about the trouble in Turkey
I thought of you and yours. Like you, I can't believe what's
happening in the world either. :sad:

Lol at the St. Swithin's Day custom! According to the
verse the weather is going to be quite decent here for
the next 40 days! Maybe that's just wishful thinking
on my part! :whistle:

Good Morning,


Sun blazing away this morning so hopefully St Swithin's day not working here! Rain was forecast for tomorrow for here but sunshine showing now. Chester is looking promising so getting my shorts packed. Got lots of things planned in North Wales on our visit .


Hope you get your holiday changed wingo you must be worried. Must admit we are too cowardly to book holidays in Tunisia or Turkey etc. We had nearly booked Yugoslavia just before they had their civil war many years ago. They had such a brilliant holiday operator called Yugotours.

Morning everyone. Bit late this morning. Started reading a new book when I went to bed last night and ended up reading it till around 5am. Wingo sorry to hear about you and your brothers holidays. Hope you both get something else sorted. Not too bad here this morning weather wise. Yesterday just ended up with rain most of the day. Saved me watering tubs and baskets. Hope everyone is well. Good luck with comping today.

Good morning all, damp here and big black clouds again. Sister is coming back from holiday today, she has been in Devon for 2 weeks and says she has had mostly lovely weather. Wish she would bring some sunshine back with her.

Hope your Brother manages to sort his holiday out Wingo and hope they change yours for you too. We usually book with Hays & Jet 2 as well as we like their deals.

Big hugs for anyone needing one today.

We are going to a late birthday meal at a Thia Resturant tonight so that will make a change. Think its a banquet thingy so not sure what we will be eating!

Afternoon everyone
I fell asleep last night trying to comp and engrossed in the news so had to wait till my iPad charged up again this morning!
I see things have calmed down in Turkey now but will pop in travel agents if it's not too busy to seek advice. I'm going into town with son.

Sun is shining here too so hope everyone is making the most of the weather while its here!

Evening peeps hope you all have had a good day. Enjoy your meal sylvia. Love a thai banquet not had a thai meal for ages. Internet has been playing silly beggars all afternoon. So gave up and went to supermarket and bought some short crust pastry and cream. Made a cheese, ham and tomato quiche and some strawberry and cream tarts. Gk's came in along with their other gran on the way back from Strathclyde park where they were at a fun day that was on there. So we had quiche with salad and new potatoes and tarts afterwards. Sent them home with a bit of quiche and a tart for DIL as she was working today. DS should be back home for a few weeks sometime next week. Then he is off for another three month stint. Postie brought me a Burts Bees lip balm and a mini MAC mascara . Think mascara was a freebie not sure about lip balm. Take care all and have a nice evening.

Morning peeps. Not very nice outside this morning really overcast. Just been out to put blue bin on street for bin men. They usually come around 7am /think we must be their first stop. Usually put it out on Saturday night but I completely forgot. We are supposed to be having a mini heatwave during the week according to weather forecast on BBC news. Will have to wait and see. Not really worn any summer clothes this year. So may get a chance. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone is well this morning. Good luck to everyone for a win.
