:hello: Good morning everyone!

Phew ..... it's a beautiful morning but set to get hotter as
the day goes by!

Got my fans at the ready! Shall spend a bit of time in
the garden but definitely not doing anything strenuous
today.





The flying ants all came out of hiding yesterday
evening to make a break for freedom (hundreds of
them :eek:)!

Sadly, as soon as they get up so far all the birdies
arrive and swoop to pick them off one by one. The sky
was full of mainly seagulls all feasting on them!

Can't abide them myself and quickly scuttled indoors
but do feel a bit sorry for them, preparing all year then
just lasting seconds ......

Good morning, its a beautiful day here and already scorching hot. GD has sports day today, wouldnt be surprised if its too hot to take place as I dont think they are allowed to do it above a certain temerature.

Sofa came and looking lovely with new throw and cushions on. Really pleased with it. Didnt finish the papering yesterday as DD2 and family were coming to tea as we had a nice chicken roasting in the oven. They put up my new chair though so that was helpful.

Morning everyone. Sunshine and blue sky here. Nose still running but apart from that cold not bothering me. Been sitting out in courtyard for last two hours with a cuppa and newspaper. Enjoy your visit to Bodnant Gardens shiels. Good your sofa was delivered without any hassle sylvia. Enjoy pottering ff and alfie don't overdo it in this heat. May go out later in afternoon and potter myself . Have a look at tubs and hanging baskets, do some dead heading etc. Just seen forecast and supposed to be getting thunder storm tonight. Will wait and see. Also overnight temp is supposed to be 20C. Be lucky peeps.

So hot here I'm surprised the street isn't melting. My comping phone has died so I'm going to have to get a cheap replacement (what's the betting I might actually miss a call in the meantime? :P)

Got a WEM today from the Look mag daily for a personalised Cheerz photo album. Looking forward to making it, as they look beautiful.

Nice win Inkling. Still very hot here (love it) Tubs and hanging baskets all nice and tidy. Inkling you can get a cheapie phone in argos. Got a bit of a tan lol (I tan quite easily) Had factor 15 on. Sat on recliner deck chair for an hour and comped. So between sorting tubs etc and comping think I had about two hours in sun. I am now covered in aftersun. Will have a shower later and re-apply. So had a quite relaxing day. Hope everyone else enjoyed good weather and got out and had a bit of sun on their bones.

Thanks for the tip Rose.

It's absolutely sweltering here. Mind is drifting towards cocktails (well, mocktails more for me) and lounging at the poolside. Temptation to figure if I can justify a little Center Parcs break is rising.
