love Llandudno, it's a great place to visit :dance:

We went up in the tram and back by cable car last time but quite satisfying actually climbing it! Got some nice pics I will show you when I get home.

Hope you're all ok.

Still no rain here - not even a gentle splatter!



The land is as dry as a bone! Hope you're ok
after the storm rose.

The temperature is a bit more bearable today so ....
will do the pile of ironing that's been stacked up and
needing doing ....

and then out to my beloved garden to do a little light
pruning, weeding etc in the shady parts.

Yesterday I had a WEM from the Delicious June daily comp to say I have won a Kenwood chef pastel sense. I'm over the moon about it. I always wanted one but have decided to give it to DD2 as she cooks and has arthritis in her hands. I'm not sure who posted this on regular comps to thank them.

Morning everyone. Sun is shining here. Bit different from yesterday. Sounds like you are really enjoying your break shiels. Alfie it is too warm for ironing. I have some to do as well will do it when it is a lot cooler later. Was speaking to a neighbour her little west highland terrier is totally traumatised after yesterday. He was shaking like a leaf this morning when she was taking him out. Hope everyone slept a bit better last night. Glad the ice tip helped you ff. Take care everyone and good luck with comps today.

Thats us home again. Was thinking it was nice it wasn't as hot here but the sun is suddenly beating in the living room window. Not to worry though as our bedroom only gets the sun in the morning so is cool at night . Have all the windows open.




Well done on duvet and pillows win rose - never go wrong.

Thanks everyone re my Kenwood win and good wishes. Spent all day in bed yesterday and rested today. I seem to take longer to get over things. Feeling much better now.

Alfie take care ironing in the heat as Rose says it will always keep.

leanfun take care hon especially in this heat if you are unwell. Just put your feet up and stay cool. Thanks everyone for wishes on my duvet/pillow win. I actually have two duvets for my bed and two for single bed do not have a change for other double bed so win will come in handy. It is a 13 tog that is on spare double so the 10 tog I have won will do as a summer quilt for it. Can put pillowa on spare as well as The ones I have are getting a bit worn lol GK's have pillow fights with them. Hope everyone is well this evening and got a bit of reprieve from it being a bit cooler today.
