Well done on the duvet win Rose :T Always handy to have a spare! I've been sleeping on top of the bed every night as its too warm to get in!

Leanfun, hope you're feeling better today now it's a bit cooler. Well done on the kenwood mixer :T

Hope you've had a good day in the gardens fire**fly and Alfie :) I've been putting off the ironing too Alfie! :D

Sheils I saw your pic on FB and it does look stunning there :) I don't blame you squeezing the trips in!

Did anyone else get all them emails from Lipsy? I was worried I had been hacked as I hadn't ordered anything but they mentioned it was a technical fault on their FB.
I looked in my wardrobe yesterday and realised I didn't have one pair of shorts to my name! Not sure what happened to them, I must have charity bagged them! :o I need to go clothes shopping before our hols.

Hope the thunder and lightening has calmed down now in Scotland Sheils. I got caught in the sudden downpour yesterday before I got to work and went into the school looking like a drowned rat! The kids thought I had been swimming! :D
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Well so much for being back home it is all cloudy. No sun forecast for today or tomorrow by looks of it - should have stayed in Chester!

I don't know what storms they had here wingo as haven't seen anyone to speak to here yet. It has cooled down anyway. Hope you find some nice shorts. I think it is difficult to find any that are the right length as they all seem to be tiny or really long.
I didn't get the Lipsy emails.

Don't know what happens to my pillows rose. Keep trying different ones and they all seem to go flat. Have won quite a few in the past too and they weren't any better.

Got all my washing done so just need to get it dry now so it had better not rain.

    Have a lucky day all.

Morning peeps, Bit dull here this morning and it has been raining. Have now got the annoying cough that seems to come every time I get a cold. Shiels I am still using the Premier Inn pillows that I won. Remember you won them as well. Didn't they last for you? Leanfun hope you are feeling a bit better. Wingo good luck with shorts shopping. Good luck everyone and fingers crossed for some wins in the Inn today.

Been raining so haven't got washing dried. Hoping it is clearing up now.
Going to put some stuff in drier I think.

Rose I won a duvet and pillows on Mag Dailies too and some from somewhere else as well as Premier Inn ones so not sure which ones came from where. None of them seemed to stay fluffy anyway. Still got a new one still sitting in bag and some are on spare beds which are probably still ok. Hope your cough gets better soon.

Ds is off to sea in his submarine on 2nd of August. Should be back around mid November. So he is leaving his car with me again. Said to him just put it in the garage and I will get it if I need it. But he is insisting I have it so that it can have a run out or started up regularly. DIL prefers her own car. It also means she does not have to keep moving things from her car to his. Glad to know someone is having good weather Alfie still very cloudy here but no rain. It is very warm though. anyone winning today?

GD phoned me to say her and her brother were going to St Andrews for a week with their other gran and great gran. Grans brother has a static caravan there. But what she said was Gran we are going to Andrews for a week. I asked Andrew who as didn't know who Andrew was and she said Andrew in Fife. When it clicked what she was talking about I burst out laughing. She was not best pleased. Gran came on to phone to see if I wanted to go. I said no as I am not feeling up to anything like that yet. Ds is going to come back down later to pick up some spending money for them. So hopefully that will help make up for laughing at her.

Ho Rose your conversation with GD made me really smile. Hope they have a good time at St Andrews and have some reasonable weather.

Thanks everyone I'm much better today. Stomach still aches a bit but we have been out shopping today so now have food and I have been eating a bit so nearly back to normal.

Good luck with shorts Wingo. Like Sheils I can never find the right ones. Other people seem to be wearing them but don't know where they buy them. Last month I did have some luck buying a couple of new tops online from TK Max. Including a new Jagaer linen blouse for £22 instead of £99 so was well pleased.

Good luck everyone for the weekend.
