My the weeks are flying by. Not quite finished the lounge but should have it sorted today hopefully. I remember the days when I was younger I would do it in a day now I have to do it bit by bit. DH wasnt very happy this morning as the smoke alarm in the upstairs flat that it is waiting to be let has been going all night. Fortunately for me I only heard it when I put my hearing aid in this morning.
We are off into the local town for a few things and a cuppa. Want to try and find some cushions for the new sofa which is hopefully coming about 5ish tonight.
Hope you cold doesnt last long Rose, they can be a bit of a nuisance.
Have a lovely day everyone and good luck for a nice win today.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

:hello: Hellooeee everyone!
Hope you're all ok.
Sorry to hear that you woke up with a cold rose,
seems a lot of peeps have them at the mo. Constantly
running nose with either a cold or hayfever is soooo
annoying!
^^^ Hahahahaha - this would be ok if you're at home
but not really practical when out and about!:rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you start to feel a little better soon. :A
Phew .... it's a beautiful day here, and across the country,
but I hear it's going to be even hotter tomorrow!!!
It sounds lovely fire**fly - your neighbours GK's splashing
about and having fun in a paddling pool yesterday!
May have to do the same- well - not to splash around in -
just to dip my tootsies in whilst scoffing off an ice cream
(or two ) to cool myself down!
Sounds as if you are having a brill time sheils! :T
sylv, hope you have a lovely time in town and manage
to find some cushions to match your new sofa.
Have a lovely and lucky day all, take care - I'll catch
up later.

Hi everyone,
Having lovely time and so enjoying the sunshine!
Was at Llangollen today - we parked about a mile and a half out and walked in along the canal which was nice and we saved the parking charges! Went to Erddig House and gardens (NT) after that and had a picnic before exploring. Tired out now but going to Bella Italia later with Tesco Tokens.
You are so clever getting the decorating done Sylvia. Hope you are finished now and can have a rest. Too hot to do things like that.
Hope everyone has a lucky week.

agree colds are so annoying rose,
think summer ones are worse than winter ones x
have got all the fans on here & windows open as it's
still so warm & there's a great big shiny moon outplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Fan is on here as well ff and I am sitting here in shorts and baggy t-shirt to try and keep cool. Had to close windows as I was being invaded by moths (well three) but one was one of those huge hairy ones it was hitting walls and ceiling. Killed it with fly spray. Got a bit of a headache, don't know if it is beacause of cold or with it being so warm.. Thinking of stuffing my nose with bits of tissue lol it has gone red around nostrils with constant wiping.0

lol, rose, I remember them big hairy ones,
we used to call them kamikaze moths

really hope your cold eases off through the night xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0
