Well done on the bargains rose. Sounds like you are like me, if bargain on the gift then the person gets more rather than I save money.

Great little win FF- well done. Have just gone and entered

Well done on the trial kit fire**fly :T I noticed I've entered for that so here's hoping! :) Mind you, I did get a little parcel of two shampoos (I think) ...that was the last I saw of them as the girls claimed them! :o

Such awful news about the attack in France again. I saw it on the news last night and like you Sheils, I couldn't sleep thinking about all those innocent people and wondering what the world is coming to. :(

Sounds like you got some bargain chocs there Rose :) I got the teachers in my DD's school some roses bags of chocs that were only 39p in farmfoods! (Still...it's the thought that counts!) :D

My poor brother and his family, I feel so sorry for them. They were due to go on hol soon and booked with low cost hols who have just now gone bust! It's the 3rd time he's been unlucky with a hol that's gone bust. They really needed this hol too after all they've been through :(

I hope the st swithens thingy isn't correct Alfie as the heavens opened here earlier and I thought it was never going to end! It's got out nice now though :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Gosh that is a shame for your brother wingo. I understand they were registered in Majorca too so will have to rely on them rather than the UKs ATOL system. My sister always books things by herself but I like to rely on the big UK companies and ATOL. Would rather pay the extra and be safe.

There is now a Turkish Coup underway where the Turkish militiary have taken over the country so there might now not be any tourism going into the country for the rest of year! That's our holiday gone now too! Gosh what is going on with this world. :(

Ho Wingo. We put the news on half an hour ago and saw the Turkey news immediately thought of you and your family's holiday. Hope you booked with an ATOL company or paid by credit card?

Also I was just reading about Lowcost holidays.

Some people are commenting that they have flights and depends who Lowost booked the hotels through seems Expedia might be honouring bookings. Might be worth your Brother looking into it. Really feel for his family can't believe this is the third time to happen to them.

Agree with you just what is going on in the world.

Thanks leanfun xx He contacted his bank as he paid on debit card. His flights are still valid and Yorkshire bank said he should be covered and to ring them tomorrow. I think he might have to do a charge back claim to get his money back. Our hol was booked through hays and jet2 so I'm now hoping they can offer us a different holiday somewhere. I really don't want to go to turkey now after all this hassle! The thing is, my other bro is getting married so we're limited for dates to go.
