Really upsetting news from France. Someone sent me a message about it just before bed last night - wish they hadn't as I couldn't get to sleep thinking about it.


Thanks for St Swithin's info Alfie. It is supposed to bucket down here for most of the day!


You will be enjoying doing all the tourist things in your area leanfun.
DH still finds it funny being a tourist when we go to Chester/North Wales as he used to live and work there.


Hope your family enjoyed the Transport Museum rose. DH loves it there. Must try and get back sometime.

Ah, don't worry sheils, it's on its way to us later - just when I have to leave for work! Think I will have to put on my waterproof trousers for my walk there, sweaty as they may be!

The news from Nice has actually made me cry. It's absolutely tragic. I really despair at the state of the world at the moment, it just seems to be getting worse and worse.

Yes, the news from Nice is tragic. So many families must have been involved. It's hard to think about.

Home again and just in time it is tipping it down now. Yankee medium size candles were on buy one get second half price. So friend is getting two and have two for myself lol. Also Thorntons chocs were on promotion in Wilkos. Went in to Iceland and treated myself to Magnum ice lollies as they were on at half price £1.67. So bargains all round today.
