It's another beautiful sunny start to the day here -
long may it last!



It was gorgeous weather here yesterday apart from
a short burst of very heavy rain latish in the afternoon -
went as quickly as it came - it was much appreciated
by the garden plants though!

Not been about as have managed to pick up a stinking summer cold (have been avoiding the computer as much as possible) but just wanted to stop by and wish everyone luck and see how folks are doing.

Weather is gloomy here, but I haven't lost hope the sun will come back one day.

Congrats on another win Firefly. How many is it now in July???

Sun shining here and supposed to stay all day! Only supposed to get up to 16C but dry is fine as we want to get back into the wilderness we call our back garden. DH got back lawn cut yesterday and it was hard work as it was so long. I cut back some heather, brambles and ferns so I could get down the steps from back door without getting soaked everytime. Could do with your help I think Alfie!

good news re the big sleep out win though just to let
you all know in case one of you win one of the other ones

the pr people got in touch with me yesterday & you
don't have to take the prizes listed on the win if
you don't want them all,
they gave me a choice of having a gift card
to spend online:j/instore to the value of the goods

needless to say i chose the online gift card :dance:

Morning peeps Bit overcast here this morning but have put a load of towels on line. So fingers crossed. Hugs Inkling take it easy. Put your feet up and watch some tv or read a good book. May go out later and tidy up tubs and hanging baskets. I am surprised how well they look after all the rotten weather we have had. Well done on getting gift card ff. You can choose what you want or need now. Will have to nip out to shop in a while as I am going to make some spag bol, curry and fish pies for freezing. Just as well DS is away this week or the psychic ability he seems to have when I am doing a batch cook would be kicking in and half of it would be heading home with him lol. Take care everyone and hopefully we will have a few more wins in the Inn today.

Congrats anyone I've missed who has won
The only parcel I've had lately is the phone I asked music magpie to send back when I rejected their offer! It was meant to be worth £28 and I wasn't using it and it was good condition so thought I would sell it but then they said it was faulty and the new offer was £2.40 There was nothing wrong with it when they returned it! I'd sooner give it away than accept that!

The kids break up on Friday but I don't break up until next Wednesday so not long to wait! Just hope we have the good weather

Hope you get out into the garden Alfie. Wish we enjoyed gardening although it would probably be ok if we could ever get on top of it. Maybe if we didn't go away so often!
