good evening all
been a rainy day here on & off but still been nice enough
to potter in & out greenhouse/potting shed :dance:
lol, had some fun here this afternoon with SIL's new kitten as he needed his claws clipping & didn't like having them done :rotfl:made a right song & dance about it lol,
but he's ok now & snuggled up & we're forgiven

Had to smile at your SILs cat FireFly. Lo pleased you managed it.

It rained and was cold here but we just had a lazy catch up day. Like Alfie I was catching up on comps. Omlettes for dinner.

Sheils hope weather was better with you and you had picnic.

temperature has dropped right down here as well,
did cheesy jacket spuds for dinner here with a watercress
& spinach salad.

Well done on another ticket win leanfun.


We did manage a nice walk and a picnic today. There was more of a wind but still dry and pretty warm. Think it is going to be nice here for a few more days yet.
Hope everyone gets the sun back soon.

I hope you're all well. I've woken up to rain this
morning - chucking it down at the mo



but apparently it will clear up during the day with
the sun making an appearance at precisely 7.00 this
evening (according to the beeb weather forecast!). :rotfl:

Had a very good day yesterday, decent mix of gardening
and catching up with comps.

I think this morning I must sort out my files - I've
got so many papers to sort out and tidy away (another
boring task, it's almost as bad as ironing :eek:) ..... just
the job to get on with when it's too wet to garden! (Not)!

Loving the sound of your SIL's weeny puddy cat having
his claws clipped and not liking it fire**fly. :rotfl::rotfl:

Had my puddy cat for a few years now is she's exactly
the same (feisty from the start and still full of mischief)
but her claws are a tad sharper now and you can see them
pinging out ready for action! :eek: :rotfl:

Have to love you and leave you now - things to do! Have
a lovely 'n lucky day all - will catch up later.

Sun shining away here already - loving this weather. Think we have been having some of the best in the UK which isn't like us. When DS2 and gf came down from Kinross they had their summer clothes on and when they came past Edinburgh it was bucketing and thought they had made a big mistake but they needed suncream when they got here. Got a huge pile of ironing waiting to do though. Was leaving it for a bad day but will need to get on the case this morning (sigh)

Happy Birthday to your DS Sheils. So pleased you have some sun this week for the birthdays. Not so good for the ironing.

Alfie sorting papers is something that is left till last here and badly needs doing. We now have a large box needs sorting. Wish you well with your pile.

FireFly rained here during night too but has stopped. Foggy and very humid here.

We desperately need to sort out shopping here. Fridge is old mother Hubbard again. I was pleased I hadn't put online shopping for when we came back but we still haven't done a big shop. Was going yesterday but didn't lo!
