    Good Morning,

Sun shining away here already so looking forward to getting out for a nice walk. DD and DS3 were lucky with their birthday weather and DD has had great weather in Glasgow. She was sitting outside having a cocktail when I heard from her yesterday.
We had a lovely meal at DS3's hotel last night but the drinks are extortionate there!
Haven't heard from BIL so don't know if they are going to operate today or not. He just keeps being told it might be this day or it might be the next and just left to wait. Feel so sorry for him as it must be terrible. DH is getting really stressed about it too.

Hope you are back to full health soon rose.

    Indie, enjoy your lazy morning.

Hope weather is good for you all to get in the garden FF, Alfie and leanfun.

Have a lucky Friday 13th all.

    Morning all.

Just been looking through some pictures of Prince Harry and the Invictus games. He seems to find the exact way to interact with everyone involved.

Hope you have a restful morning Indie.

Well yesterday I managed to clear some of the jungle. Sunny here again so will try some more today, Just need some energy. Still managed to do quite a lot with frequent breaks. With grass cut it all looks a lot better. Shrubs needed pruning last year so now a major job.

FireFly take care. Hope your puzzles worked out well yesterday. Couldn't believe it was Thursday again.

Good luck everyone on Friday 13th.

Evening peeps. Have been unwell but I am now back to health ( I Think lol ) Hope everyone is Ok will have a read back later. Getting fed up with feeling yukky. DS is off from home again in his submarine. Kiddywinks are brilliant. DIL is fine as well. Been a wonderfull day today sun has been shining. Had a walk to local shop and bought some sweets. DS brought me in dinner on his way back from work. Chicken curry and fried rice.

 Hi rose - so pleased you are now back to good
health. I was thinking that you were probably poorly as you
hadn't been in for a blether. :p Great to hear that your lovely
family have been very supportive. :T Take care. :D

Thanks for all the good wishes re BIL. He texted at 11.30 to say op had been postponed. He has been waiting in hospital for 2 weeks now. I know the Welsh health service is supposed to be the worst in UK but getting silly now. What a waste of a hospital bed and the stress must be terrible for BIL and his wife.

So sorry to hear about your BILs operation being postponed
sheils. Hope you receive encouraging news today that the
op is actually going ahead. The worry and stress levels must
be horrendous for you all. xx

Well some good news here we have decided the water must have come in under the side door of the garage as the mat is saturated. We managed to sleep through some mighty downpours. No sign of any water leaks from roof.

Great news re the water leak leanfun - the roof can be
very expensive to sort out. Bet you breathed a huge sigh
of relief when you both discovered the rain water was
coming in under the garage side door. :D
    Good luck with your gardening - I agree - tndeusegazon.gif a
newly mowed lawn seems to work instantly to make the
garden neater and it sort of opens it up (if you know what
    I mean :p).

Good luck with the pruning. :D

Nice to 'see' you sylv - sounds as if you are really
busy - wishing you good luck with the move. :)

It's another beautiful day here - sunny and glorious!

Will catch up with you all later. :)

Been a busy and sometimes stressful week here so quite glad it is nearly finished.
BIL has had his operation and looks like it has gone well.
DD has returned from her break. Washing is up to date , DH has cooked a roast and I have a glass of wine in my hand so all well with the world!

Your garden sounds like ours leanfun - think we need FF or Alfie to come and help.
Hope everyone has a lovely Friday night x

Try not to feel too disenchanted with the comping thing April,
a win could just be waiting around the corner for you!

April, Alfie's right a win could be just around the corner. When you want something to happen it doesn't seem to. It must be over 28 days since you won the weed killer sprayer, if it is I would email them.

Thanks Alfie and leanfun! I keep telling myself that, but it never happens, haha! Maybe I'll win a bumper haul all at once! I do do it mostly just for fun, but when you're not getting much back it can be a bit of a downer sometimes!

Sounds like you've got everything under control sheils! Glad your BIL's operation went well - that must be a big relief.

It does get a bit upsetting when you have a dry spell April. I haven't won many things this year but the ones I have won have been great.
Thanks, DH has cheered up now his "wee brother" has had his op.

Sheils so pleased to hear your BIL has had his operation and it has gone well. If he takes it easy first few days he will be fine now. Heart surgery is amazing. Not surprised you feel tired Sheils. Your DH will be so relieved.

Yes, I had to smile when Alfie was talking about Lawn, ours is grass with wholes, weeds and all!

I overdid it a bit yesterday, despite the frequent rests. Today DH protected the car the car and took the sacks to recycling. I think I only filled another three sacks today felt too tired but have caught up with ironing. Garden does look a bit more like a neglected garden now rather than overgrown jungle.

It was some very nice takeaway fish and chips tonight. Now sat with glass of wine.

April I was four months before I won anything and then after a couple of small wins I had one big win and as hooked. I won a bedroom makeover which was brilliant and I still have to pinch myself when I wake up in the morning to such a wow room. Do hope you have a win soon.
