Been nice here too but not as warm as it has been.
BIL phoned this morning. He needed a triple heart bypass and not a double and is feeling really sore but was fit enough to phone so DH was really pleased to hear from him. Will go and see him in a few weeks.
Just booked a break to Salou in September so filled up a little gap we had deliberately left blank incase we decided to go abroad then.
Been watching an episode of 2000 Acres of Sky, really nice to see where we were a few days ago on film. It hasn't changed much!

Sun shining away here but not feeling very warm really. Forecast not looking too great for next weeks trip to Northumberland but hopefully mainly dry. Be nice to relax in a caravan without kids birthdays to organise or operations to worry about!


Just going to Salou for a week FF. It has such lovely short flights and transfers I always like going there. It was the first resort I took DS2 to. So many of the hotels are getting bad reviews there now, especially from people who go all inclusive. We have picked a suite with sitting area, balcony , fridge, microwave and little kitchen area. Also have half board so hopefully the best of both worlds and it had a good offer on it!

Lol fire**fly - I watched BGT too last night - the
'young' gentleman playing the keyboards with the song
with sooooo many verses was hilarious - loved him -
also loved the face Simon kept pulling when the chap

sheils - the holiday break you've booked sounds excellent.
So pleased your BIL was able to speak to you and DH
yesterday via the phone after his op. :T

Morning, sun is in and out the clouds at the moment. It was a bit chilly earlier but is warming up nicely.I have a week off now so if the weather changes you can blame me..lol. Hope you all have a good day.
