Well I too made it out into the garden, just clearing though. Very hot out there so kept coming in for a break.

Fire Fly barbicue sounded just what you needed. Great to be able to eat outside.

Theluckofthedraw hope you enjoyed your walk.

Sheils sounds as though you are well prepared for your birthdays. Hope you all have a great time.

    Good luck everyone.
  • Hi

Thanks FF, heather will be a definite for a couple of the pots. I think we will just get general bedding plants for the rest and make an effort to turf them out at the end of the season!

Walk was lovely went to a place called 'Nicky nook' and it was beautiful. The dog came with us as it is a good walking place and the scenery is great, it was sooooo hot though.

Hope everyone's had a good sunny day:)

Going to watch the Bafta's then dream of that WEM winning a goodie bag!!

been very hot here too & been in & out the shade,
once the weather starts getting warm here quite a few of the
    neighbours start doing barbies &/or
wine & nibble evenings in the gardens,
always is nice for an hour or so :j

heathers sound good for your pots theluckofthedraw
had some gave me a few years ago & had them in
pots for a bit but found they dried out very quickly
    if not watered regularly so
i transferred them into the garden,
    your walk sounds lovely,
lol, hope your dream comes true re goodie bag :)

amazes me sometimes how quickly they seem to
    appear!!
still, some are good for the environment & encourage the
    good insects
