Amazon also sell wooden squirrel feeders (if you're not able
to make them). Hopefully, if they've got their own stash
they'll leave birdies food alone. Though I agree with f**f,
they will still have a good go at the birdie stuff - cunning
little blighters! Ho hum! Just can't help loving them
though, sooo cheeky!

Happy 18th to your daughter Sheils. Hope she hasa great day (apart from the exam)

Went out to clean and refresh birdie bits earlier...went inside for two minutes and pigeon looked confused as I had taken away his food haha then when I went back out he was watching me with the magpie and bluetit waiting for me to go

Then sat in my bedroom with my camera and took a few photos as my wildlife cam in my garden isn't so good at catching the small birds feeding

Sheils Hope your DD had a great Birthday and the exam went well.

What a strange day. It was so hot and sunny when we met up with family at coast but on the way home this afternoon rain and the a lot cooler quite a drop in temperature. Niece's little boy is now already over nine months old and very alert. Had a great time with my brother.

Came home to find a heavy parcel under our hedge? Lo it was for neighbour and not ours! It was so heavy we couldn't lift it l put a black plastic sack over it to keep rain off. When neighbour came home she said she had no idea what was in Parcel.

It's surprising when you have a break from comps it does not seem so addictive!

Hope everyone has really enjoyed our short lived sunshine.

Looks like it is going to be another beautiful sunny day here.
Thanks for all the wishes for DD. She thinks her exam went well and we had a lovely buffet and then drinks in the garden with family and friends before she went out with other friends at night. Expect she will be a bit fragile today!


Sounds like you had a lovely day leanfun - shame it rained later.


Might go for a picnic at the beach today.

Morning, glad your DD had a good day.Great you had good weather for the buffet. It was cold and windy here most of yesterday and it's been raining all night (saves watering the garden this morning).I hope the sun appears later. Need to do some planting out. Hope everyone has a lucky day.

I hope you're all well and having a brilliant Tuesday.

Thankfully, we had rain through the night because it was
soooo muggy here yesterday. It seems to have helped
to freshen the air a little. It's beautiful out at the mo.

Been out and about already this morning, down to local
village, stopped to chat awhile with peeps then had a
lovely wander through the forest again before
returning home.

So pleased your DD had a wonderful birthday sheils and
that she thought the exam went ok. A picnic on the
beach sounds great!

Must really do a few comps this morning while they're on
my mind before I get on with anything else!
