OH keeps talking about a new kitchen. I'm ignoring him. Glossy handle-less cupboards are the "in" thing, but I like our oak cupboards, they work fine are in good condition and I see no reason to change.

When we had the new boiler fitted, they warned they may have to change all the pipework. OH was secretly hoping that they would create a mess. We went with British Gas as they would do any uncovered work necessary within their quote. It turned out that rather less change was needed than they anticipated. So the kitchen ceiling stayed intact.

Also just worked out I've had no more than 120 hours of sleep (and worked about double that!) in the last 3 weeks, so tiredness is probably the issue.

Going to have a coffee and crack on, but decided to have 3 days off next week instead of 2 (a massive luxury and the most I can do due to other commitments) with the exception of the potential client meeting mentioned earlier in the NPT, which will hopefully take no more than about 4 hours home to home.

Dropbox has been discombobulating me to the nth degree.

Am trying to share a file, but can't seem to find a way to share it without giving the other person access to my whole Dropbox account.

Have given up for the moment.



It would have been quicker to have taped all the stuff and sent it by snail!

What about using a Google drive instead? That can definitely be split into sections with different access levels. I have one I use for family history collaboration.

Don't know anything about Google drive.
I only have an iPad.

I'm trying to share a file full of music tracks. The file was given to me by someone else originally.

I have both the Dropbox app and access to the website, but I find the interplay between the two confusing.
I only have the free Dropbox. I tried uploading photos a while back, and it took for absolute ever!

I don't find it very user-friendly, to be honest. Trouble is, this person really needs these music tracks.

Perhaps I'll have to ask Dropbox to help.

Yes, purports being the operative word! Icons on that screen are different from mine.
I've been doing what it says, using my initiative, but......
It just seems that whoever I email it to could get access to my whole Dropbox account, instead of just that file, unless I am logged out of Dropbox, but what happens if I log back in?

Aaaasrgh!

There are other things about Dropbox that are irritating too. Like trying to copy or move a file into another folder....it's dire!
I don't like it at all.


Edit ...it might just be that the Dropbox account recognises I'm logged in and so gives me access, even when linking from another email address. I hope so, anyway!

Morning all. I know nothing about Dropbox so can't help there.

Four weeks on and the ankle is getting better. I'm now able to do 2 short walks around the block with the dogs each day, well most days.

No heating or hot water today. Have just searched out an additional fleece throw for the bed. But the kitchen is starting to take shape and I am able to catch up on the washing this weekend.
