Ooh yes - although you'd better get to the butchers quick if you want to eat it on the right day ;)

Well, if all else fails, Sainsbury's always seems to have some!

A haggis is not just for Burns' Night, it would seem! :)

That's true, which is a relief.

As to vegetarian haggis - provided the sheep was vegetarian, that's good enough for me :rotfl:

I thought it was odd that the local butcher's had more haggis for sale than usual this week - I'd quite forgotten about Burns Night :)

The trailer for "Call the Midwife" has been playing the theme tune to "Juke Box Jury" ( blast from the past!) and it got me wondering why there isn't a TV show on these days which does something similar, but perhaps for online song videos.

You know, vote "Hit" or "Miss" by a panel of jurors. I suppose these days they'd have a phone-in vote thing as well.

Or is there such a show, and I just don't know about it?

    Good old David Jacobs. RIP.

Edit.... You can refresh your memory here:-

That sound is sooooo 60s! :rotfl:

    Blimey! Is this a record?

12 solid hours since a post on the thread!

Did WW3 break out while I was away doing stuff/meetings etc?

Looks like it's just us two at the moment but I'm off to bed in a minute. Lightweights, that's what we are...unless someone else comes along and proves otherwise!

To be fair, I'm usually in the Land of Nod by now, but had a meeting to go to.

'Spec' I'll be a wake at four as usual!

No, it's not the lateness, but the 12-hour gap that's puzzling!

Perhaps they're all full of a lunch of haggis, neeps, tatties and single malt! :rotfl:

I've been busy, but amazed I've come back to nothing to read

I'm also going to bed in a minute :)

Single malt? What's wrong with double single malt?

I had nothing to relate that wasn't mundane. I did make my own minced beef and onion pies though for tea last night that went down a storm with Joe.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
