One of the worse items we purchased for the kitchen was a breadmaker...good in that we could make our own bread, bad in that we could make our own bread and then scoff it whilst it was still warm so we had to make another....and another...and another.
Ex hubby thought he had battled well in getting custody of the breadmaker when we split, my waistline was glad to see it go and I got something far better in the exchange - the stereo, good for the waistline and for keeping the children entertained. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I know just what you mean, I've got that t-shirt too0 -
I am eating more cheese now as part of gluten free - I get to that point where I am starving and want a small snack - before it would have been a biscuit, piece of toast or any one of a million nice things, now I stare forlornly at the cupboard and fridge for a few minutes and then have a chunk of cheese (mild cheddar but another non soap watcher). I also eat more crisps than before, I'm not sure this gluten free is a very healthy diet.
Try snacking on rice cakes. There are GF products available. On average only 30-35 calories per cake. Very filling too. Not expensive to buy.0 -
After reading the articles about burnt food and thinking it didn't really apply to me, I managed to virtually anihilate my potato wedges today. No more tatties in the house, so we ate them.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Lets please not get into a lengthy discussion on the political aspect here, but as my Australian friend has just pointed out, the UK is doing quite well bookies-wise by comparison to other years and my Liverpudlian friend has pointed out (I did know already) that there are quite a few X-Factor links
Anyone who is surprised by Australia joining again hasn't watched in the last few years though💙💛 💔0 -
Cheers CK. I watched snippets of the songs today. There was definitely one that stood out from the others. Not going this year. Kviv not easy enough to get to.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

UIA from Gatwick, BA from Heathrow and Wizz from Luton are the 3 choices if the latter is still running. No idea on prices though, but Wizz will probably be cheapest. I fly with Wizz regularly because they fly where I need to go and they're a good airline.
I'm not going either💙💛 💔0 -

I pressed the connections and wiggled the wires and turned it off/on at the wall .. still nothing.
I get a black screen and when I change channels I get the "channel information/programme name" that shows up, so some signal's getting through, just not video/audio.
I've turned it off at the wall for now ... hoping it'll just "fix itself by magic" and work next time I turn it on.
That's the standard broadband helpdesk solution, and with broadband it fixes the problem 9 times out of 10. Good luck with your TV.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
