Mine's a laptop, but it uses Windows. With Windows you can have several webpages open at the same time; each new one opens up in front of the previous one you've opened, but each one has a little tab sticking up at the top, looking just like the tab that sticks up at the top of a cardboard divider between paper files in a filing cabinet drawer. Each of these tabs has the name of the webpage (or forum thread) on it . If you click on a tab, it brings that webpage to the front so that you can view it. So they are all one behind the other, and you look at one at a time.0

Ah yes, that reminds me of my old iMac!
Memories.................................
I've still got it, for old time's sake, but haven't switched it on for about 10years! Tangerine.
I think I've got more memory in my little finger than that iMac had! And it took ages to start-up!
Mind you, I only had dial-up at the time!
Edit..... 'Ere! Ivy! You done that 'ooverin' yet?(I just lurve spiders!)

Christmas House or crack house

I get very confused by lights on trees at any time other than Christmas.

How difficult is it for you to spot your house without them?
Would a blue light look like a police station?
Aren't lights meant to be taken down by 12th night?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. That's what I do, too.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
He didn't go today and it is looking like he will not be going tomorrow, at least then he will get a clear run of a few days to recuperate before he needs to go in Monday (he doesn't have college on a Friday).
Some of his friends are understanding (the girls, they understand concussions) and some think he is just pulling a sicky (the boys, they don't understand concussions), so he feels like he is being pulled in several directions at the same time which is not helping his disorientation!
I feel much more relaxed about the whole thing now, think I would have spent the day worrying about him overdoing things if he had gone in.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
