My food waste = fish skin, fish bones, occasionally meat bones and fat (after making stock with them!), cheese rind, the odd bit of fruit that's gone mouldy, drained-off fat from cooking, and because my compost bin needs emptying, vegetable tops/innards etc., and teabags.

Recently, I sorted out my herb/spice shelf, and decided to ditch those that were well out of date or I'd had for ages and ages and never used, (and wanted the space), so they all went in the food waste too!

Ooh, I bet your bin smelled gorgeous when you chucked the herbs out.

On the subject of stick blenders, I'm surprised nobody has made a cheap plastic splatter guard with a hole in the top for the blender to pass through.

Also to Pastures, Aldi does cheap light bulbs fairly regularly, though don't think they do your weird ones.

Nobody does the weird ones :)

The issue with the kitchen ones isn't getting them ... it's remembering to get some and then getting round to having the nerve to get up a ladder and start poking about with lightbulbs that will probably have an alien fitting :)

Does anybody have one of those cameras in your car for recording incidents?
And is it better to have two, one looking forward and one looking backwards?
    Are they a good idea?

And are they expensive to get installed?

Might be an idea to ask on the motoring board Pyxis. I think installation is a doddle.
