Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

This has countered what I've been told with 3 separate people from the same bank, plus that I'm able to show previous accounts (on a much smaller scale than planned though), plus info for where 30% cost savings will come from in scaling up.
Everyone is keen, when it means they will hit targets, its only when it gets to underwriting that the views change. Do you have a relationship manager at the bank who is sufficiently senior to pull strings? Can you offer more security for the deal?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yes, and 1 government guarantee (to hopefully be joined by a second), plus a PG and past (unupscaled) figures, paired with various evidence of work being there and details (2 pages worth) of how upscaling will cut costs.
My named RM is currently on maternity leave, which may be a large part of the problem.💙💛 💔0 -

What! Seems like overkill to me....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Agreed. I guess someone reports a post and the machine goes into overdrive.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Think there are a fair few who should have been perm. PPR'd before Gen and for much worse and more frequent eekiness posts but somehow they always seem to get away with it and be allowed to carry on with their sometimes very distasteful posts. We made it! ... permanently PPR'd .... repeat a joke.
Does not compute!
That's utter madness....
I can't even begin to guess at the sort of joke that might've lead to a non-disruptive, highly valued, contributor to have been picked on so ruthlessly!
What can we do to get the idiot that chose this action to be spanked and a reinstatement of our beloved one?0 -

I guess in general we are all reasonable adults and don't reach for the report button as a first resort whereas those who are more 'challenged' see it as a little victory when they achieve something like this. I think I may once have reported something as racist and sometimes spam but that is it).
Not sure if I am fed up with the site for letting it happen - sure they have millions of users to police so just applying simple mechanical rules is quicker and cheaper than looking into the rights and wrongs but then again, our being here pays their wages so is it unreasonable for us to expect a little common sense and decency in return.
I think some have contact with Mr G - would they mind asking him if he was happy for his email address to be shared with me or whether we could friend up on facebook?I think....0 -
... friend ...
I now can't get The Inbetweeners' "friend" out of my head now .... it was a catchphrase of the show.
