I do have a bin for compost but it's only an old dustbin so I can't get a huge amount in that. When I've worked out where everything's going I'll sort a proper compost bin. a quote thats copy and pasted from Chris m's post

That's pretty much "just wrong". If I saw one cheap enough I might be tempted to try one, but I wouldn't wish to make it a regular item.

Macaroni can get so "cludgey"... thick and nasty ... and I'd expect it to be like that to be in a pie, so it just wouldn't work well.

I know it seems so wrong - yet it does actually work.

I've only had ones from a petrol station's chiller cabinet and they were good, I dare say proper ones would be even better ;)

Has anyone been watching "The Disappearance"?

I must admit, I'm finding it very good indeed.

I do a trawl through the Radio Times each week to see if any new stuff is starting. I'd have missed loads of really good stuff otherwise!

I have still managed to miss the odd good programme, though!

As someone said on another thread, do we really want to belong to a club that threatens its members if they want to leave?

It's really interesting how strong opinions are on this.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Just looked them up. £2.30/jar!!
    They're not for me then.
    I'm more your 70p purchaser :)

I try to only buy them when they're on Special Offer :D

GDB Isn't it? My 22yo DGS is vehemently in favour of staying in, (so much so that I wonder if his employer has warned their many UK staff that their jobs will be at risk if we leave, though I haven't asked him) whereas my DS who's 31 and self-employed wants Out.

That Chateau programme's on 4, it seems to be just after the part where I had to leave/go out and miss it.

Who 'just happens' to have a brand new looking, PAT tested heat transfer machine lying around?

Had it for years, of course.

Just watching my recording of it.

Those windows with that locking mechanism are a work of art!

Also, makes more sense with the inlaws coming to live there. Maybe they're putting some money in, too!

Interesting that the gas tank heating thing came free with a government grant.

Also interesting that the chateau isn't listed. Just goes to show how many chateaux France has got knocking about, that they don't need to list them all! :rotfl:

They're very brave, living on a moat with two toddlers!
