Another good one was in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which stated in the entry for the planet Traal that "Ravenous Bugblatter Beasts often make a good meal for visiting tourists" instead of "Ravenous Bugblatter Beasts often make a good meal OF visiting tourists".
The editors claimed that the first version was correct because it read better.0 -
