Co-op lover is not a bad bot as bots go - I think her/she/it can stay for a while for amusement.

Of course michaels is much more convincing, some of you even thought he was a real poster for a while.

Thanks it isn't easy being the newbie.

Today was the day after a week of rain/drizzle/cloud that they promised us we would see the sun - our survey says - nil points.

The solar panels are convinced it is February again, that was the last month we had less output in the first 4 days of a month.

It decided to come here and not move on.....absolutely gorgeous day after almost a week of it being autumn/winter again.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo!
He's been at it since about 5.00!

Following on from the chat about translations, I've just noticed that there was a prog on Radio 4 last Saturday at 11.00am "The Forum" where the discussion was "Machine translation: the end of the human translator?"
    (Should be available on catch-up).

It also discusses the impact the development of machine translators might have on people's desire and ability to learn other languages.

Quite pertinent given PasturesNew's comments yesterday! :)

Edit. Just listened to it! You need iPlayer Radio app, not the TV app, but it's free and downloads quickly.

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Just had a look on this site.....

It's a bit of a mixed bag depending on where he actually is.

He could still be being lashed, or the worst may have passed.

Looks like as the rain and trough passes, the drier weather will be colder.

Just a quick note to let you know we had a phone call at 4am from OH's brother to say their Mum died shortly after midnight. Not unexpected as she hadn't been eating for 2-3 weeks. Always a friend rather than a mother in law. Obviously we'll miss her, but she was miserable at lingering on, so I guess it's a good thing.

In a few minutes I am going to have to put my (very) big girl pants on and start the drive to Northampton to pick Josh and his stuff up. I should be more used to it by now as I have done it 6 times but it still stresses me out.

Still haven't been able to do the journey to pick James up in my own car, ex lovverrr still does that run for me (I go as well), something which I know is a little unfair to James but the M25 still strikes the fear of god into me. I used to be so good on that road too, always going round it without a care in the world...until a blooming great lorry decided he wanted the bit of road I was on and smashed into me (buy an old Passat, built like a tank and brilliant when being hit by a lorry :rotfl:)
