I'm equally shocked. I would have at least expected PN to have made a note in her pink Hello Kitty diary.

    Eww. Mussels...

We have green bins that are emptied for free.

People with big gardens often have gardeners, who take the rubbish away with them.

We have a green waste collection but rarely use it. We only have a gardener "as required". Digging, trees work, hedges and grass when oh is away . He takes any waste. A neighbours pony grazes a small paddock.

We have a large wooden sided compost bin, a plastic dalek and a wire sided compost heap. These are the means of disposal of our own gardening efforts and some bunny rubbish. I need to cover the top of the wire and wooden bins with black membrane as they are full and we will keep adding to it unless I cover it. wooden bin currently topped by lots of dead bunches of flowers. It looks like those sad heaps you see at the edge of cemeteries.

I have just booked a dental app. DD and I now have the same NHS dentist, good for me as I need her to transport me.

We have an appt for 8.15 am on a Sunday morning:) in April. Our weekends are booked up prior to that.

Still amazed at routine service on Sunday. I expect they will be with European dentists.Thank goodness for immigration.

he told me they could do it as a "one off" but there's a charge.

Without peeking/googling, try to guess how much that was?
