Isn't there a True Cimes series on the TV too? I'm sure I've seen one listed somewhere!

I generally don't watch those sorts of things, too much embellishment for shock factor for my liking.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Sadly, the little brown dog died this morning. She seemed quite peaceful.

My son and I have just finished digging a small grave at the foot of the garden. It's really hard work, and I do wonder how Fred West managed much larger graves on his own?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I've never seen any of those magazines!

You know when you walk into a newsagents/bookshop and see the magazines you're looking for? ..... there are more shelves below that one that contain other magazines :)

I can't remember what I got for my 17th, but I know it'd have been something "normal", like a jumper or a record.... certainly not driving lessons! I had to pay for all that myself and the car, of course, and the insurance, etc etc.

I don't know if it was planned as my present or was a reaction to my suggestion of getting the moped.
I had to pay for the additional lessons and, afterwards for the car, insurance, tax, etc., etc.
The only times I've had help with buying car has with the help of the bank of Midland or Natwest - or, more recently, the manufacturers offering PCP deals,

I always wanted to a ton on the M1. Dunno why. Probably because it rhymed.
    :D
    I never did manage to.

I managed it on the A31 in a MkIV Cortina without actually realising I was going that fast until I glanced at the speedo, scared myself nearly s***less and haven't bothered trying again even though my more recent cars would have been more capable and safer.

Aww... I can still remember when you got her - and you really didn't appear that keen at the time, but it was just couple of days before we could spot you'd really fallen for her!

She had a nice end of life with you, some familiarity to continue her days. Treats, walks ... and YOU!

I was on the A45 one day - the private car of a couple of taxi drivers... we were going a bit fast and the driver decided there was "a bit of a fast car ahead", so overtook it .... and it overtook us ... so he overtook it ... and it overtook us ... and as he overtook it he exclaimed "We're doing 140!!" ... and it was only then that the taxi driver sitting in the rear of our car let on that each time we were driving past, he was grinning at the other driver and giving him the bird. :)

Thanks. There was some soul-searching this morning about whether we should have let the vet euthanase her last night, but at the time that seemed so hard-hearted, and the dog was still walking around looking pleased to see us and so on.

Curiously, the dog happily went for a long walk two days ago. So, this has been really quick.
