Mine has fallen out twice and both times I found it. The first time it was slightly squished down in the carpet pile. The second time I retraced a path I had walked along. I will have the setting changed to something a bit more durable before wearing again.
Good luck Doozer, I hope you find it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You found it outside, viva?! Wow.
The bounty idea isn't a bad one at all, PN!
I've had my hands in and out of really annoying pockets today I was cold so I have a ski jacket that has four pockets, all zip up. This could be the culprit.
I was at a petrol station earlier and had a really horrid feeling that something was going to be taken from me! I hope that it wasn't then, I was searching pockets for my card then.
Done it a few times in the car today, in MacDonalds and once at home. Sigh.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Go back to the petrol station... That's how I found my outside one, retracing my steps. Gloves were involved in mine and I went back to where I took them off. Park at the same pump and do the same stuff if poss. People there will not be looking for a diamond. Even if they see a typical diamond, they won't think its real. You may not find it, but it will only cost time. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Worth a shot, I guess. I will go back there in the morning once I've dropped the kids off.
I've checked eveything in my bedroom plus coat pockets, unravelled my tights as well! I din't hear anything drop though, and it's a hard floor.
I'll check the car in the morning before we leave but that might have to be a hoover job down the sides.
Coat came off in MacDonalds so that could be a possible as well. Perhaps moreso than the petrol station. The sleeves are tight, so snow doesn't get up them.
It's only a thing, I guess. I still have the rest of it. Another one won't look so different. Will be a considerable amount more expensive now than it was!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Aaarrgghh. Just a total nightmare. Vac with the narrow doofa thing with tights over it in the house?
More hugs from Liverpool - useless for help - rolls eyes. But really feel for you. Thinking of you, and very much hoping your searching will be productive and you will find your diamond.0 -

I meant ... shove the tights over the end of the vacuum pipe and vacuum around in carpets, nooks, crannies, pockets, the car, etc ... as the tights stop it disappearing up the pipe..0
