Hello all,
We moved into a flat with a housing association in November 2015. When signing the tenancy we were told we would "hopefully" have a chance to park in our street. The street is privately owned (Capital Carpark Control) and at the time of us moving in; there were http
/s23.postimg. org/k9dghiw8r/perm.jpg resident permit signs
A week later and they replaced these signs with http
/s16.postimg. org/60ya3pu39/pay.jpg
Pay & Display signs (at a ridiculous rate)
Today, 05/02/16, i received these two NTK's.
Is there anything i can do to avoid these £200 fines for parking outside my new home?
I'm desperate!
Many thanks.
James.
EDIT
Apologies for the links, im new here so cant post links.

Bumping this for others to reply to as I can't see the links on this PC. BUT £200 you say??!!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
Thanks Coupon-mad.
Yes, £60 if you pay in 14 days. £100 after.
x2.
The company (Capital Carpark Control) are so amateur im sure there is a way to beat them.
The PCN's are handwritten and terribly done, the first (if im correct) is over 56 days from getting the PCN to receiving the NTK so invalid? And the second looks like they may have misspelt the registration number.
I look forward to more replys
Thanks

I've tidied up the links:

2 links deleted - personal detail shown!
@OP - first off, you need to take down the 2nd and 3rd images NOW and redact your personal details then re-save them! Don't post images where your identity can be established, PPCs monitor the forum.
As you've now received the NtKs (2 tickets) you need to go to the newbies sticky and use the template appeal in post #1 (blue text). Send a separate appeal for each ticket. The PPC is a BPA AOS member, so beatable at POPLA.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You should delete the links that give away personal info as well.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -

I have done, but it doesn't stop anyone unpicking the broken links in the initial post and viewing them - and his details.
The main thing is, the OP needs to redact them, pronto!
@OP - tell us when you've redacted all personal identifying details and I'll re-post the links. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hi I'm new to this forum.. I'd like some advice please.
I've had a parking charge letter from UKPC for a retail park in Burnley lancs.
I honestly thought it was 3hrs free parking and I was 2hrs 47mins... I've had initial letter for £60, my mum passed away and I forgot about it., I then got a £100 letter which I replied to stating that I felt it unfair as the car park was free and it was 7pm at night.. They've ignored my letter and now sent a final reminder £100 stating it will affect my future credit rating and they may issue an appointed bailiff to recover monies.
This I cannot cope with at this present time, can anyone give me some advice please.
Thanks

Could you please start your own thread, instead of hijacking this one which has nothing to do with UKPC. That way you will get much better advice. ThanksWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?1 -
@Apbeetle2 - please start a new thread of your own, just copy and paste your post above and you'll get bespoke help. The forum won't deal with more than one case per thread.
And please stop worrying about CCJs, bailiffs or credit ratings - they won't happen! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

As said start your own dedicated thread and we can tell you all about UKPC..
They cannot say " it will affect your credit rating"
And they certainly cannot say they will issue an appointed bailiff, only a court can do that.
UKPC ARE SIMPLY SCAMMERS AND FRAUDSTERS.
See you on your own thread1
