I have BT for broadband and landline only (I don't believe in paying subscriptions for TV as for me they would be very poor value) and I have had no problems (touch wood) apart from having to have a replacement hub once, and even then I managed to stay online as I found my kitchen is in a wifi hotspot and I can pick it up in there.

Reason I stay is simply so they have no-one else to blame but themselves if stuff goes wrong - a friend of mine has just waited over 3 weeks for TalkTalk to conclude her issue must actually be a BT problem and then begin another wait for TT to contact BT to organise the engineer.

Yes, I could probably get cheaper but I have no patience for difficulties like my friend has just endured. And once you are out of contract and on a rolling monthly thing, you always have the possibility of contracting elsewhere to brandish at BT to speed them up.

    :T Totally agree with you.
I've been with BT since I signed up for dial up all those years ago

Every year when my contract is ending - I ring & ask for a deal & always get a very good deal :D

For TV we have a free sat Humax :D

I think the £5.85 price will only affect people that are on the new T&C for C&C/HD

Although thinking about it I'm not sure what the apg will see.

Dont know if its any help or not, I had a delivery yesterday which had a meal deal on it, my store is still on the old system

It went into the basket at £5.85 (showed full price for pizza and wedges, ice cream showed as £0.00)

Receipt showed full prices minus frozen meal deal promotion of £4.60 so I was actually charged £5

    APG worked same as instore

Must be, surely, spending a fortune on olive oil soap?:rotfl:

Surely would be better buying "Savers" or getting shampoo glitchy? And the handwash glitched as well, when they keep coming back around.

I'm also not sure that using cloths to replace toilet roll saves a lot of money - even though cost of toilet rolls (6 pack), years ago, was about 55p and is now £1! Must be spending a lot on cloths:rotfl:. And she had to return to toothpaste as well:rotfl:.

Looks like the number per pack is changing for the Always in Sainsbobs.

The best buy if you can find them is the

    Always normal + 18s 50p pack.

Not sure why the others were not reduced as much they all had "SALE" sels (maybe next week if there are any left...) and the smaller packs were on sale for £2. So make sure you pick up the right ones. Not sure if National or not.

    Always normal 20 pack £1

Always night time 13 pack £1.25

I thought it would, as it is correct individual prices online the same as would apply instore (for anyone daft enough just to buy a Ben & Jerry's at £4 for instance and not get the meal deal:rotfl:). Depends on whether an online order sees everyone being charged the meal deal price - if not, that's where the real cost (for others) would come from:eek::eek: (if they didn't decide to turn it down at that point!).
