then tried another shop with cocktail cherries reduced to clear in store but lost a bit :(

:(Not a good idea to buy 'reduced to clear' items - that don't appear as "Reduced", as store-specific whoopsies, on a receipt and therefore appear on a comparison - as they are likely to be higher priced at the competitor if it has them (I know I mention how "RTC" items can be even cheaper elsewhere but, I suppose, if we're getting them and think the RTC is that good a price for us to be getting, then it's likely it is going to be much more expensive elsewhere if the competitor has it - it's a risk being run anyway).

You wouldn't have needed the cherries on that shop, as had enough items without them anyway, so could have bought them on a separate shop by itself. However, I keep putting additional items on my shops these days (especially given the other risks I'm taking:eek: - hoping for so much cheaper elsewhere and including 'glitch' items, I don't want it to fail at first hurdle and not have enough items at all - I just keep chickening out these days:( - and then put an item in - but what if it doesn't appear:think: and then put another item - what if that one doesn't count either and I therefore exclude it? - and, I know when I'm in the store, the items I pick up sometimes that were never in my intended shop:mad::(:rotfl::(...).

It's versus Sains. that is the problem for me - since I know, if I'm being "forced" to use that comp., due to one or two good items or the few items I get that miraculously compare best against there, anything I pick up, that I haven't fully researched in advance, is almost bound to be so much more expensive when compared to there!:rotfl: (I wouldn't pick anything up unless it looked good - and that is also part of the problem as something like that is very likely going to be more expensive elsewhere!)
  • Well, Boots have very kindly refunded me 25% of the price paid for So ? because one of the boxes was not in cellophane (couldn't be exchanged as OOS so I said I'd keep it.)

    I think that's fine. x

I've had no bother putting through 5 every shop of 5 packets. It seems to be more acceptable that its points and not cash off.

Any non-cidre drinkers winning 4-packs might find this useful. I noticed 4-pack Cidre and Lager are the same price at Morries (£3) so I chanced it and bought lager. The receipt just says 'Carling' and it worked a treat. They even payed £4.

The worst part is that they lied in their back teeth before I switched inspite of me telling them it was essential. They should not have promised it if it wasn't going to be possible.

They will have recording of all your conversations, I'd go to the ombudsman. Not much help to you but they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it!
