Mr Monkeys didn't have a clue and went on a rant about teaching things they will actually use in real every day life. Not just to tick some random box on the curriculum agenda.

I'm sure maths was simpler when I was at school too:)

No - all fuses are 'up' in fuse box.
The shower 'pull' is still working.
The loo light has the extractor connected to it - which is in same room.

The problem is that BT have allocated me a new number - even though they TWICE assured me that I would be able to keep my old number and that there woud be no problem whatsoever with this. Now they are telling me that I can't have my old number as Talk Talk haven't released it and they don't know when/if they will. Having spent a couple of hours chewing the ears off various people they have eventually said they will try to contact TT and ask them to release the number - but no guarantees. I've had the same number for 25 years at least and I am thouroughly wee wee'd off - over that period I have had a couple of previous service provider changes and I have alsways kept the same number.

I wouldn't have changed over if they had been honest when I did the order but they lied. Not happy at all.

The worst part is that they lied in their back teeth before I switched inspite of me telling them it was essential. They should not have promised it if it wasn't going to be possible.
