    This is simple maths, there is one answer, not multiple, and the answer is 12.

    Basically, always multiply out any multiplication before doing any addition/subtraction. This is where you went wrong. Multiplying comes before addition/subtraction in maths order of operations.

    Ok, bare with me if you will. It's an equation, this is the equation:

    3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3 = N

    An equation can be rearranged and/or simplified and still give the same answer. This is an equation which is not in it's simplist form.

    The last two threes cancel (-3 + 3 = 0) to leave us with

    3 + 3 x 3 = N

    We can rearrange the equation as follows by subtracting 3 from both sides:

    3 x 3 = N - 3

    We know 3 x 3 = 9 so:

    9 = N - 3

    Now we can solve for N by adding 3 to both sides.

    9 + 3 = N
    N = 12

    And if you still don't believe me, maybe you'll believe google calculator.

    Its 3 + 3 x 3 -3 =3

    So 3 + 3 = 6
    x 3 = 18
    - 3 = 15
    +3 = 18

    is that because no one will employ you? :rotfl:

    im sorry i could not resist as i agree with the top quote :p

    Free deli Luisao pizza on 10ways. 500 only £3 Sainbobs. £1-50 Sada

    thanks for this, I managed to get one :j

    some of the items on mycoupons are good for a sainsbobs v sada brand match shop so I can start a list now

    I tested various cards today and 2 of my nectar cards produced no till spits :eek:

    the third one I used I was doing a bit of an experimental shop with but it worked on previous occasions. On "my coupons" it says get 800 points wys £40 so I bought Sainsbobs gift cards - it might be next week before its confirmed but its worked previously.
    but also this card keeps producing tills pits that say spend in multiples of £20 get 200 points - this would be a nice bonus if this also worked.
    I did 2 separate clothing shops at the weekend and 400 points went on in one lump so I am not sure but I assume this is this offer going on

    I had one of those and eBay did sort it out pretty quickly once the 8 days was up.

    I've got a couple of pairs of ugg boots on there so I'm hoping I don't get screwed over similarly :o

    :(Not a good idea to buy 'reduced to clear' items - that don't appear as "Reduced", as store-specific whoopsies, on a receipt and therefore appear on a comparison - as they are likely to be higher priced at the competitor if it has them (I know I mention how "RTC" items can be even cheaper elsewhere but, I suppose, if we're getting them and think the RTC is that good a price for us to be getting, then it's likely it is going to be much more expensive elsewhere if the competitor has it - it's a risk being run anyway).

    You wouldn't have needed the cherries on that shop, as had enough items without them anyway, so could have bought them on a separate shop by itself. However, I keep putting additional items on my shops these days (especially given the other risks I'm taking:eek: - hoping for so much cheaper elsewhere and including 'glitch' items, I don't want it to fail at first hurdle and not have enough items at all - I just keep chickening out these days:( - and then put an item in - but what if it doesn't appear:think: and then put another item - what if that one doesn't count either and I therefore exclude it? - and, I know when I'm in the store, the items I pick up sometimes that were never in my intended shop:mad::(:rotfl::(...).

    It's versus Sains.:mad: that is the problem for me - since I know, if I'm being "forced" to use that comp., due to one or two good items or the few items I get that miraculously compare best against there, anything I pick up, that I haven't fully researched in advance, is almost bound to be so much more expensive when compared to there!:mad::rotfl: (I wouldn't pick anything up unless it looked good - and that is also part of the problem as something like that is very likely going to be more expensive elsewhere!)

    I've got a womble today with 3 x Asda chosen by you 100% pure pineapple juice from concentrate bar code 505244921144

    3 for £2.50
    Does not appear on comparison but scans as n/a in asda.This is no good for favourable comparison trigger but does show that it is better to be safe than sorry for the sake of a few pence.
