    you could put them in breadcrumps with cheese and tomatoes then grill

    or you could chop them up and make a casserole

    How woudl i make a casserole? chop gammon in to strips or cubes? Add veg..and stock? Which stock? only have chicken or beef in.

    Mumzy, were they frozen raw or cooked?

    For a casserole, cut into cubes, and either stock would do along with the veg.

    They were frozen raw. I bought them from market fresh and stuck them in freezer. Took them out to do last nights tea (they were in a pack) and we didnt use them all, so 3 left over.

    well according to what I learned at college, you can use them tomorrow, just don't reheat again,

    Would be nice in pasta bake. or carbonara type dish....or with macaroni cheese (or as we have too many spirals,,,,, fusilli cheese!)

    i would use chicken stock with veg and chopped gammon into cubes if at all poss

    In that case, you could make them into something and then freeze once they are cooked...I am presuming they are still raw, just defrosted.
    Then you could have something totally different for tomorrows tea with the gammon surprise in the wings for another day.

    were they salty when cooked, if so, be careful on the stock, as most cubes have added salt.

    Need help as I defrosted 4 gammon steaks for dinne tonight but kid are out for dinner at their friends houses. I really ont know what to do with the steaks now. Anyone any idea's please.

    Did think of doing a ham and chicken pasta bake for tomorrow nights tea but not sure if I could cook then and then use them tomorrow in the bake.:confused:
