my fav way to serve gammon is pineapple , hm chunky chips , garlic mushrooms , peas and fried egg. although on a tight week we just have chunky chips and egg.

or i love it with carrots cut into stick's, cheese sauce and mash.

This is what we do with our gammon. You can also use the liquid and reduce down then have as a dipping sauce.

  • Roast as normal and then coat thick slices in highly seasoned egg & breadcrumbs and fry to make schnitzels.

I'd serve this with roast potatoes and mushroom rice. You could also make a tomato sauce by reducing some passata, tomato puree, Worcestershire Sauce, balsamic vinegar and tarragon in a saucepan.

we always boil it in water, cider and orange juice (makes it much more tender and juicy), then put mustard, demerera sugar and cloves on the outside and finish it off in the roasting tin. Then we really don't care what it's with because it is soooooooo good. And gammon gravy is the best gravy in the world.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

I always think gammon steaks are a bit dry, so I either serve them with baked potatoes and a cheese sauce or make a sloppier version of Delia's Boulangere Potatoes. I would do brocolli with it, but the veg is really down to personal choice.
