ok.. im back !!!!!!

Good news.... the hedgehog will be ok.. i telephoned the vet yesterday and they said that they had started to remove all the ticks and then he was being sent to a lady in Barnham to be looked after till he is fit enough to go back to the wild.. i feel sooo pleased, thanks for all the good wishes about him x x x

had a good day in Brighton , but it was soooo busy there , Natzini, cant wait for the new Primark, do you have any idea when it will be? Managed to get everthing we needed. DD had an accident on the escalator, she fell over and hurt her leg, its bruising quite badly, she even cried, it also scared her as well ( and me ) why do these things happen just as its time to go back to school ?
we had a nice walk on the peor but i cant help but to feel sad as you can see the old pier and now its had a fire i dont know if they are going to rebuild it anymore.. does anyone know?

Today we have lived in our house for 7 years !!!!!we moved here from Carshalton in Surrey, but i am a Londoner as im origanally from Fulham, but lived in Dulwich for years.

I am going to work at 7am will be back by 9am !!!! got some housework and washing to do, this afternoon both me and dd are having haircuts, then im going to have some me time !!!!
cant wait for Big Brother final tonight.. i think that the twins will win and Brian second, i dont mind as lonfg as its not Jonty or Carole.

Good morning amie, and all who follow,

Think i actually got a couple of hours sleep last night - not much but better than before so thats good, hopefully a few more tonight then!!!

Nothing much planned today, lots of children here, hopefully no rain so the boys can play outside but we will see. Might do some cooking with the girls, although i will prob end up doing it on my own!!! Have lots of old bananas to use up, so banana bread might be the dish of the day. Also, as its Friday, its HM pizza night, so need to get the base in the BM.

OK, ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs one, im off for a cuppa before they all start to arrive!!!

Morning. At least there are no soppy puppies on this mornings post. Friday, so it's knock off early for a long weekend :j. I don't need to go back until wed afternoon.... Although saying that I have some overtime on Sunday.
Got to get the OH car MOT today. Then do the work on it over the weekend. The radio also seems ot have given up and the clock, so a fuse or some wires to sort out. Got to finish the school uniform too. Big expensive weekend coming up.

Felt gross all night, some indigestion there and bloating. Ugh. Well must get going. Could be my last day in the office at newquay today.... Noone has really told me anything, so don't know.. Personnel ?

Morning All

At work as usual. Got a hospital appointment at 11am - ecocardiogram or something. Basically an ultra sound of my heart. It's where I had chest pains a couple of months back. They're sure it was just stress, but want to be sure.

Also got to go to the solicitors to pay them to start the searches on my flat and to give them proof of who I am.

I'll have to come back to work after as I've so much to do it's not funny! Hoping to have lunch with a friend tomorrow and look into booking a holiday for the two of us.

Woke up this morning to find someone had texted me at 10pm last night. I'm so glad that didn't wake me up. I've told them so many times I'm in bed at 9pm, owing to getting up at 4am, but people just don't listen or have any consideration. :mad:

AMIE - Hope DD is not so sore today. That must have been scary. I agree that the old pier looks very sad.I love Brighton - it's one of my favourite places.

Well, babysitting went really well. When I got there DGS and DGD had just had their baths and they looked so sweet - almost edible! I was really mad that I had not taken my camera. I take quite a few photos of them throughout the year that I don't show anyone; I put them in special albums for Christmas presents and DS1 and DIL are always delighted with them. Last night I could have taken loads. Anyway, we had a couple of games of chess - I lost, even against DGD4yo! I hadn't been given a definite bedtime for them but, by 8.15 they had got all giggly, so we snuggled up on the sofa and watched some cartoons and then I put them to bed, having had guided tours of practically all the toys in their bedrooms! When DS1 and DIL returned we had a cuppa and a lovely chat and, all in all, it was a lovely evening.

Today's plan is to go shopping - don't need much because it's just me and I go away on Thursday so a short week. Have one load for the WM and I'm going to have a go at Aunty Beryl's Chutney which was kindly put on the thread yesterday. Thanks, Catznine.

Anyway, off to have a shower. (((hugs))) to SMOKY and her OH, QUEENIE - if you're around and all who need them.

Morning all,

Last day of my friends being here today. We are going out for lunch ( it's OK they are treating us!) and then they'll set off back to Manchester. It's always really sad to see them go.

Have checked the bank account and Mr Frog's money DID NOT go in. I had a tiny nieve little part of me that thought the company would have a pang of concience and pay up. No such luck. They obviously are the scum we thought.

Will get on with the strongly wordrd letter this morning and get it in the post ASAP. He went off to work at 1.30 am with a heavy heart, I think he thought they might pay up too.

Anyway, time to buck up and get on. Hope you all have a good day xx

P.s This is my last day of being an out of control foodie! The "sensible eating campaign" starts tomorrow! :rotfl: No, honestly I really am ! I'll have to change my funny little thing at the bottom. I wonder what to write?

Feeling really tired today and my feet are really hurting today, must remember to keep pitting cream on them

Put on a whiskey miniature on ebay and it sold for 150 pounds:j :j :j thats going towards spending money for florida:D im sure i have some more whiskey kicking about.

Going to get house tidied today and make rolls for tomorrow as we are off to a raf airshow with the kids, doing this instead of a birthday party for ds2, also bringing his mate with him.

Amie, we have a hedgehog, and every night at about the same time, it turns up to be fed. We're not sure whether we only have one, or two as some nights it looks bigger :rolleyes: Glad yours was OK, it's pathetic how excited we are about ours

Decided that I do't need to go shopping today as the cupboards and freezer are full, so very moneysaving today. Not sure what's for dinner, might make chilli or hm pizzas.

Dull and drizzly today, so no washing on the line, so will have an Ebay listing day.

Morning All

Wow Kyle - expensive Whisky! Will be getting back into selling on ebay once kids go back to school.

Bit dull and nipy here this morning, hopefully the weather forcast is right for the weekend - we would like to get on the boat if possible - not much time left. Today is same old - paperwork, small amount of housework and ironing. Am hoping to get a phonecall to say that DD's blazer is in the shop but am not holding my breath.

Kids are getting stroppy and depressed about going back Tuesday - I am looking forward to it. Its always sad the first day but I need to get back into routine. Actually mealplanned for next week for the first time in ages.

Best get on - need to jump in the shower, have a good one.
