Would it get rid of the smell of alien washing powder/fabric conditioner which so far nothing is working on (in the summer leaving it on the line for ages worked, but in this weather I'd probably lose the washing...)

But what then gets rid of the smell of the fairy lemon? (I can't stand the smell of those either - can't even drink coffee out of a mug that's been washed in it as the smell impacts the taste).

The problem with living without artificial scents and perfumes is that I'm totally intolerant of them.
  • Hi all

Busy morning at work then had to take DS1 for an appointment, then to gym class so no real flying done here except the basics. Oh and smells, we have had a strange foisty smell in our hall which we have now tracked down to DSs footie boots which he left wet through in a plastic bag in the hall cupboard. The boots have been washed but still smell revolting. Interesting tip about DW tablets Pigpen.

    Right, bedtime!

Done all of today's tasks inbetween school runs, base level tidy in living room & kitchen (although they still need a proper clean) & dance lessons etc. bathroom & toilet smell lovley & fresh now. Just can't wait to get rid of all these sticky finger prints & built up grind from the toddler & then keep on top of it.

Squeezed in shopping today as well & some washing. So in all a productive day. Back in work tomorrow but will do a little before & after work. Will be having l/o's for tea & little ones at their dads so should be able to get some bits done.

Rewarding myself with a cup of tea & a biscuit now :-D although I need to prep tomorrow's lunches & clothes ready for tomorrow still. Never ends.

Oh and I treated myself to some lovley tulips for the house. I love fresh flowers & these are my faviourite. I think they really do cheer the house up x

    Evening!

Just about maintaining here. Kept on top of dailies and tidied / cleared my desk. So I can get to it on Wednesday.

Got my job outcomes meeting in the morning, and college after work so will be awol. Autocorrect changed that to wool. Which could be right, if I get unravelled!

Got a sore head from car door being blown shut while I was putting bags in - ouch. And jaw still aches from Thursdays shenanigans - meh.

My little bundle of inspiration (DS) said this morning "I'm really going to make sure I have a good day today" :A and I've been trying to keep that in mind. If a 7yr old can be smart enough to decide that, then so should I be!

    Onwards and upwards!

(On a plus note I've been healthy eating today and nothing has put me in wanna-binge mode :o)
