honey bear - thanks. I do use vinegar instead of fabric conditioner (vile stuff), but checking various recommendations have increased the volume significantly.

Washing is now on the line. Hopefully it will stay there... :)

Vacuumed right through which has left me feeling tired. Having lunch now then will start paid stuff - shouldn't take long. Back to flying after.

More hugs and healing/coping vibes for CY.

Traffic dreadful this morning, so didn't make it to Insanity at the gym so just did zumba. At least I did Body Pump last night. Beginning to feel a bit fitter.

Can't remember what I hadn't finished yesterday - oh yes, I did put a bag of clothes out for the charity bag which is being collected today.
    - DW done a load and put away
    - Yesterday's report checked and emailed.
    - One load in washing machine.
    - car filled with diesel on the way home from the gym.

It's really sunny at present although windy, so I'm out into the garden for half an hour before lunch.

  • Very bad day today, woken at 5 by text message to re-arrange lunch date from next week...why? It could have waited till a decent time.
Overslept got up at 10.30 and feel ug. Bad headache too. Have sat on sofa but need to get moving. Have emptied airing cupboard over weekend and need to put things back in some order. Plan was to take 3 bags to charity today but not sure if it will happen. Will put kettle on for coffee and tidy up kitchen, at least a start.

    Honey Bear re holiday.
We are looking something suitable for ds2. He is anaphylactic to nuts and has extreme food and sensory issues so we aren't looking to fly anywhere. He doesn't like long car journeys either. I have so far looked at cottages in Yorkshire, caravans on the east coast and lets near London. We can't do But li-s as we had to leave early 3 times with stomac bugs. We aren't up to camping. I don't want to have to use the car every day whilst there. Just call us fussy X

Keys holidays are worth looking at for self catering homes on east coast Dancemum. We've had some lovely and very reasonable properties through them in sheringham.

Got a couple more squares to sew together then I'll crack on with the lists and make a start on food. For tonight.

    Afternoon all

It is still so windy here, with most of the bridges closed. Just hoping it eases a bit the morrow as have to go out for some work. Getting a bit monotonous now :(

Gosh - what a mix of news CY. Pleased that some good but sending hugs for the rest and hope soon sorted out

Dancemum - what kind of holiday you looking for, when and for how many ?

Sorry Kaz re 'late' baby and no sink - at least you have a new moggie to enjoy. Is it named yet ??

Have done most of the kitchen except the fridge and the floor.
Dusted right through - top to bottom.
Meal plan for month finished and stuck up
    Accounts for January finished
    Monies shuffled in bank accounts

I am really chuffed !! You may all remember that I usually visit my DS in Ibiza in September.

Well, taking Martin's advice to book flights early, I have just spent a couple of hours trying to sort and...managed to get flights from Edinburgh return with BA for £492 for the two of us. BTW that's £200 cheaper than Jet2 for nearly the same dates whoopee.

Just decluttering a cuppa and then will make a start on the dinner - salmon fillets with ???
