  • Good Morning ladies :)

My WM really stinks and i've tried putting it on hot washes, using WM cleaner, to no avail. Would the DW tabs help with that do you think?

House is looking pretty good here - both tiddlers at home all day though so it won't last! Paid stuff meeting today with my business partner, charity bag is on the driveway waiting to be collected and DW has been unloaded and reloaded. Thanks to those who have mentioned the TD issue - I remembered we had a letter about ours, finally checked it last night and we are entitled to a new one so that's the plan.

Frizzle - I hope babba doesn't keep you waiting too long!
CY - thinking of you honey. What a mixed bag of news. Keep resting love.
Bossymoo - hope today isn't too draining, will be thinking of you.

We have decided that when we move we will definitely be getting a dog! So excited, we have wanted one for years and now it finally feels the right time. We have seen a lovely springer who needs a new home due to the owner's work commitments... here's hoping she is still available xxx

Enormous (((hugs))) and tons of love to CY xx

Posivibes to meet today's challenges to bossy and YL

Safe baby delivery vibes to kazwookie's DiL and to Frizzle - I am :rotfl: at Biscuit monster's suggestion of curry for tea tonight.

Thanks, dancemum, my cold is well on its way out now, and just a minor irritation compared to other people's problems.

I didn't get much crossed off my list yesterday but have made enormous progress with the new course, which is encouraging. Today I hope to
    - declutter at least 1/2 lb at SW
    - go for my blood test
    - finish the new course outline
    - prepare for my own course tomorrow
    - phone/email 2 friends re this weekend's visit
    - sort bag for CS

Flying will be limited to S&S, plumping up cushions and taking down and putting away the last decoration as the Christmas season ends today.

Spoons, sticks and (((hugs))) to all who need them x

Me again. Washing basket now empty, dusty bits in LR no longer dusty and hoovered through. Dailies are done.

Paid stuff now. Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Woke up & my sugars are stupidty high. When there like this it's hard to get motivated has all you want to do is sleep... But I've jabbed myself & having a extra brew now to get motivated. Sister has takin dd1 to school so not had to have a mash rush or anything. In work a little later today so going to try & get a hours cleaning/sorting in before I go. The kitchen is the worst room for me :-| sister has given me a tea station today, so I'll set that up first & scrub everything that moves over.

HHI .. bit of a catch up!!
Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first

Do you just shove it in the drawer or put it in amongst the washing Pigpen?

And Greenbee, you've probably tried this, but as you didn't mention it I'll suggest neat white vinegar in the dispensing drawers. After all the washing your clothes have had they're obviously clean, but vinegar eats smells and although the clothes smell of it as soon as they come out, 15 minutes later they don't, and when they're dry they don't. Worth a try?

Typical Blond, if you used the hottest possible wash with a jolly good belt of bleach and no washing powder in the dispensing drawers, I don't know what else to suggest. (Don't forget to turn your spin off before you do it, though.)

I have been searching for a holiday. It is driving me mad. We have been spoilt by only having to travel 30 mins for the last few hols. The price has however climbed beyond what I want to pay.

What kind of holiday are you looking for? I'm horrified by the price of flights now, especially long haul.

CY, I wish they'd been able to whip it all out, but failing that at least they know what they're dealing with now. Huge (((hugs))).

I'm copying Master Moo today and am going to have a lovely day even though I'm going to be tackling stairs, the ground floor and our bathroom. Me -> :)
    Better is good enough.

I use it instead of wash powder straight in the drum HB .. it is the only thing that works on DS2's laundry.. goodness knows what he does with his clothes!

I may have to try this on the dogs stuff, then put it through a second wash to make sure any residue is off. Sometimes I wash stuff and they still smell of dog  I wonder if it would work on getting a mystery stain out of DD's PE top

Bossy - Hope today goes the way you want it to *hugs*
CY - Sorry to hear it's spread, but great to hear you'll get a picc line
    Frizzle - baby arriving vibes!

Can anyone tell me where yesterday disappeared to? I didn't walk Zack but we did have a good couple of sessions running around in the livingroom/kitchen playing with toys and jumping over sofas or doing tricks :o:rotfl: I'd have played outside with him but a tree a couple of houses over is loosing its twigs/small branches and our yard seems to be the landing zone, 5 long ones put in the bin this morning so far and there's more down the side of the kitchen which I can't currently get to.

Today I need to fill in some forms, write & post my friends birthday card (I'm hoping it'll arrive before he goes away!), juggle money, pay a bill, update accounts & budget then go to Mr A to try and rectify being double charged last night for items. It was a new girl on the till and when she put the reduced items through she just scanned them, then when I point it out she scanned them again with the reduced price. It was only when I got home I realised she'd not voided the full price charge! Its not much, but I'd like my money back.

I only did the kitchen on Sunday so I'm crossing off those jobs today as I work Sunday to Sunday on my cleaning :p

    Personal:
Set up & organise planners - in progress but I need ink and paper for the printer. :o

Time for me to boot up my work laptop and get a print out of my accounts for this form. Last time I just had to fill in the form :( This time they want the all singing all dancing accounts. Then I have what feels like a million other things to get done on the computer.

CY really mixed news isn't it honey; sounds like you're being well looked after but can't believe your scan results were put with your letter - not helpful at all.

Frizzle curry and pineapple for tea I'd say. S actually came a little bit early thanks to somehow managing to do the other thing that can bring it on :o - he was due to be induced 2 weeks early anyhow due to my stroke but we brought it forward a teensy bit more ;).

Sneezing, snotty, can't breathe - feel really healthy today. Didn't help that when I was walking Whiz I took a tumble and got muddy and scratched the insides of my wrist. Oh and Whiz has got yet another barbed wire wound down his chest which I've just cleaned up for him. Hate barbed wire with a vengeance.

Flying wise I've just had to reset my WM as it seems to have got stuck so doing the diesel load for the 4th time with the DW tablet instead of washing powder. Will be interesting to see what happens. I've found my receipt for the WM if it is playing up and we're amazingly still covered so worst case I'll call someone if it jams again - there's no reason for it. Typical when I've got Mount Washmore in my laundry basket.

Going to have a bit of toast as really hungry and then do some flying; got a bit of paid stuff to do this pm.

    Morning all!

Thanks to the list yesterday I felt more productive than I have in ages! My normal problem is I flit around doing bits and pieces here and there so no one room actually looks in a decent state!

So I started tackling the kitchen this morning by sweeping the floor, sorting out the carp on top of the microwave (anyone for a slightly green wrap BB Oct 15 which had been buried under paperwork?!) and sorting out the veg cupboard. Will continue when I'm home from work.

I'm not going to bother posting an updated list as I've barely touched it and probably not get much of the list done. Instead I'm going to do a list of everything that needs doing in this house, I'm totally connie cupboards... and everything is all over, not much has a proper place... so will do my list and from next week work on a room at a time, following along here xx

Have a good week all x
