Happy Birthday Mumto5
Updating my list:
- declutter at least 1/2 lb at SW -I am now seriously considering raising my target weight (if only temporarily) to accommodate my body's inability to tip the scales the other way
[STRIKE]- go for my blood test[/STRIKE] - I picked the right moment and was in and out in five minutes, with no car park fee to pay
[STRIKE]- finish the new course outline[/STRIKE] - and I've emailed it to my colleague for her comments
- prepare for my own course tomorrow - will do this evening
[STRIKE]- phone/email 2 friends re this weekend's visit[/STRIKE]
- sort bag for CS - probably won't manage this today
- [STRIKE]take down the last Christmas decoration and[/STRIKE] put it away - it's still sitting on my desk, but it's not far from the storage box and will be away by bedtime0 -
Fresh air is definitely the best way to get rid of the detergent smell. Helps that it was sunny today too.
So what I did was - soak in bicarb for a few hours. Then wash, with a full fabric conditioner drawer full of vinegar and the rinse held for an hour or so. Then did a second rinse, then left it all on the line until it got dark. There are a couple more loads to go but I'm pretty sure the house is already smelling better. And the laundry that has had the treatment just smells of fresh air.0 -
mumof2 and biscuit monster- tried that the other night 😉 but still no joy! I have got a pineapple in the fruit bowl so might have some tonight! Worth a try! Got another appointment on Saturday for another attempt to move things along a bit! We will see!

cy ((((hugs)))) so sorry about the news. We are all here for you if you need to vent. Be kind to yourself. What is going to happen about work?
bossy hope you are getting some down time. I need to take a leaf out of Master Bossy's book. At the moment I seem to wake up already on the treadmill and dreading the next disaster. Tomorrow I will try the more positive approach
BUT I am not going near the fridge to clean! New microwave turntable arrived today.
Off list flying -
2 lots of visitors in 7 days, so blitzed the spare room and made up the bed. Will have to be a quick turnaround but thankfully I have 2 sets of sheets.
Had a bad start today - power cut overnight so no alarm. Was woken by the dog at 8 rather than at 6 so missed my Body Pump and Pilates. Did manage to run a hoover round before DH got home to go to bed.
Went to the gym and and did weights and a treadmill run. I've booked for Aerotone tomorrow to make up for the missed class. Never done it before so it will be interesting.
OK. Menu plan for visitors and then an early night. With the weather still awful I will set a battery alarm clock tonight as back up.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Ooh let us know what it is like, I haven't seen that at either of the gyms I go to.
Have opted out of flower club as the friend I usually take can't go; pathetic but I'm happy that I have nearly finished another report.
Remembered the other thing on my list, to email vicar's wife re.Easter lilies. Done.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Hugs CY I'd like to say I can't believe they'd make a !!!!-up like that, but they seem to be ever more frequent. I'm sorry it wasn't better news, and finding out how you did is just terrible. I'm not surprised you are making a complaint xx
Long day here. Starting with a wet bed at 5am (not mine!) and ending with a painful session at college, interspersed with very good news from work (:T), a nice lunch out with colleagues and a heap of paperwork.
Now I need my bed - hopefully I will contribute a bit more after tomorrow...
Night all xxBossymoo

My DS was two weeks later than 'due date' and decided to arrive the day I was to be induced. Typical :rotfl:
