WB Skinty.. I'm not joining you, I'm having a sneezing fit then going foraging in the kitchen!

Apparently I've a court date on Friday.. fun.. I have a different solicitor as mine tried killing himself last week (heart attack in the office!!) .. CF's has gone on maternity leave so we are all change!
.. and the appointment I booked for tomorrow at 10am I need to change because I've double booked myself once again! I'm a right banana sometimes! .. obviously I have no contact number to rearrange the appointment because no one ever give me any useful info.

Right.. wee (sneezes are done) .. kettle, food, washing on line, DW ...

    Morning all.

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes, to all, and most definitely "babies arrive already!" vibes to those in need ;)

Productive day yesterday cleared most of the computer things I needed to do, sat down at 8pm when I got home with DD (went to meet her at the bus stop after club) and watched TV until 9.30, put the house to bed and was in bed by 10, read until 10.45 and was asleep by 11pm :D Woke up with my alarm at 5.55am and actually stayed awake for a change. :j So I decided to leave putting the computer on until I done something useful.

    So far this morning:
    - HH reading of my book while having breakfast
    - Bathroom tided up after DD washed her hair this morning leaving a small scale of destruction behind. If it had been a shower it would have been worse lol
    - Filing in DD's bedroom done, then the rest of the bedroom given a quick tidy to clear some space on her desk.
    - My bedroom tided.
    - Kitchen tided & dishes washed after putting tea in the SC.
    - Wash load of cleaning cloths done and now blowing on the line and WM put on a wash cycle
    - A load of darks put through WM (just finishing) and I think I'll put it on on the line for a bit to blow through before finishing it off in the drier

Now I plan to do some baking after I've hung this washing out and while I wait for the glue to set on my sunglasses which I broke last week. ;) I'm hoping to take Zack for a walk later once I've caught up with the laundry. I know he should take priority, but I'm distinctly lacking clean clothes which fit as they're all in the wash :o

Off to find the superglue!

Hoovered kitchen and utility. Cleaned DW filters. Another load of laundry in - needs one more rinse then can go on the line. Bath, shower and basin cleaned. Upstairs windows open to air. Washing off airer and moved to airing cupboard/ironing basket as appropriate.

House is a tip, I haven't finished unpacking and am WAY behind on work. need to get this jet lag sorted.

    Hey all,

Sorry to those who mentioned - the good news was that I have my directors approval for VR - I clearly haven't gone on about it enough heheh, I thought you'd all guess :D

I've a few formalities to deal with but nothing to suggest it won't all go ahead. Wooty woot!

Still working for now though...and lots of it!

Welcome back skinty, hope planet skint has improved for you xx

Today my housey jobs will be:
Make DS bed - he slept in spare bed last night as I wasn't home till after his bedtime.
Clean downstairs loo, is a bit yucky.
Get out stuff we need for weekend away - waterproofs, towels, layers etc.
    Get an early night!!!

    Happy birthday Mumto5!

So glad you got what you wanted, Bossy! I couldn't figure out what the good news was either, so thanks for explaining.

Photos of the new cat please, Kaz.

Welcome bank Skinty! You have been missed.

I've just spent an age trying to let Braklies Bonk know that we found a valid debit card on the street this morning. I've phoned them, given up after being kept waiting, joined twitter, tweeted them ... and been told to phone them! The card is now going in the postbox without a stamp; they suggested I drop it into one of their branches! How much time do the people who run Customer Services think the general public has to run around after them? All I needed was an email address. *meh*

My office has been turned into a temporary lodger's nest, but I've got to go on an uplanned shopping trip because leaving a spoon in the cafetiere and forgetting about it has resulted in breakages, spillages, soaked kitchen floor, shower room ceiling and shower, and floor. And no coffee, which is without doubt much the worst thing that has happened today.
    Better is good enough.

Did mils cleaning this morning -barely touched the surface, I could do with spending a couple of days round there. If I had the time! Paid stuff, then food. I have scrubbed our bath and tiles so bathroom looking ok.

Glad the vr is looking promising bossy.

Going to go and do something to catch up here.
