Howling wind and occasional spots of rain in Herts.
Been to tip with garden shreddings.
Been to get MIL birthday present and bought cinema tickets for tomorrow.
    Been to Tesc0.
Just done 2 comparison site searches for car insurance due this month - both search engines offering just over £2 cashback!
Checked bank account and sent off one receipt and one invoice.

Now do I watch the rugby with Mr N in the lounge; have it on split screen on the computer while I type a report or just type the report?.............

  • Pigpen and LW we had DSs PIP assessment on 17 June last year and got the decision on 2 July. Mind you I think it depends on where you live and how many claims they are dealing with. Keeping everything crossed.

Today has just disappeared! A bit of tidying, shopping, quick visit to see MIL, ferrying one son to a friends and the other to work.

Off to have a look at my finance spreadsheets now, which are a bit neglected. Then will have to feed myself and DH.

Not a chance in hell - just getting to see my preferred GP at all is to be considered lucky.

No joy with the optician either - apparently, my old varifocals do have the marks on, but they are so faint as to be virtually invisible. The explanation I was offered is that the lens manufacturer has changed their method of etching, so what used to be a virtually invisible marker is now an in-yer-face splodge.:( I have asked that negative feedback be given to the manufacturer, on the basis that I bet a lot of people are thinking, as I did, that their lenses are dirty, or are suffering in silence.
They've tried tweaking the fit of the bridge so that the lenses are angled slightly further round in the hope of putting the worst of it out of my line of sight.

Done 2 x WM loads and made a loaf.

Mr LW has decluttered a film off the $ky box; it had no subtitles (shown on Syfy) so I have no idea what it was about.:D

    Bu88er all else achieved.:(
