I am not happy.
Letter from DWP today - so of course I was shaking like the proverbial leaf, thinking it'd be my PIP decision. It wasn't. It was a totally pointless letter apologising for taking a long time, and telling me they'd let me know when they'd made a decision. Idiots!
Also, just after my visit to the horrible PIP bully, I made an appointment to see the GP - only appointment I could get was 11:00 on 4th March. As I can't get there under my own steam, Mr LW booked 4th March as annual leave. Surgery have just rung him to inform him/us that they have changed my appointment to 13:40 on 3rd March. So now he has to grovel to his boss to change his day's annual leave.:mad:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW .. we got the same letter today too. in fact 5 of todays 7 letters went straight in the bin. Will the quack not do you a home visit??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Pigpen lets hope this solicitor is good, it must be so hard for you to see the kids having to go through this, especially the older ones.
Enjoy your weekend Ionafan and sorry to hear about your sad news Jazee.
Frizzle now you have decided you are going to have to wait you might just get a surprise! Oh and Bossy hugs x
Well it went well today in my meeting. I had a slight panic when I realised that I had got the wrong copy of one of the documents that I had handed out to everyone else but I bluffed my way through that bit! Looks like I might be standing in for my boss for the next couple of weeks which will be good experience.
Right, off to watch some telly with DH and DS.0 -

Evening all, just updating and then will catch up with thread! Had a curry tonight- worth a shot! Lol!
Pleased with my achievements today as I have done a lot of niggly jobs that I never get round to! I did have a bit an ocd moment. Ds1 got some glow in the dark Stars and planets a few years ago. When we did his space themed bedroom we stuck some of the stars on the ceiling but the other day i came across the planets and the rest of the stars. So today I decided to attach them to the ceiling. I got some invisible thread and hung them from tacks but I couldn't just put them anywhere. I used one of ds1s space books and made sure they were all in the right order and the right position from each other! How sad is that!!! Looks great though!

Morning. Hope you're all ok and that the baby arrives for you soon Frizzle.
Well, had a lie in and have woken up ready to finally start the new year after the atrocious start to it, and it should be a good day today. DH will hopefully have some more positive news on his new job, both dogs are currently ok and DD and her BF and visiting. DS's results yesterday came back okish which is about what we can hope for at the moment, and he can go back to work in a week's time.
Flying wise - dailies, dog walking and then probably feeding and chatting with DD and her BF.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
