As to the certainty - perhaps the shop don't get many parcels so when T went to pick it up they knew they'd sent it back as it was the only one to come in that day?
It's anyone's guess where it is since, as I say, they won't talk to me about it or attempt to locate it.
Hmmm - something's smelling rather "fishy" here !
If it had the wrong label how did the shop know it was from you or to the customer ?
Why did customer get the e-mail ?
If it had the "right" label why did shop send it away ?
Or did they get 2 customers that day and gave it to the other 1 ? and now trying to cover their donkey ?0 -
I think a court might say "Here's a copy of the label" (Print another one ! )
"Here's a copy of the customers e-mail notification"
ok Mr collect+ where's your signature to say the customer has collected it ?
I would stick the discussion as closely to that as possible - Who is saying they won't talk to you ? - Have you tried sending them a copy of the label ?;)0 -

I've explained this repeatedly. Right now there is a technical issue with the comms between ebay and collect+. Any labels purchased through ebay are showing on the collect+ system as TOTALLY BLANK.
Without being able to see any details on the label they can't verify that I'm actually the person who sent the parcel and so won't talk to me. They told me that whilst this technical issue is going on I need to ask EBAY to talk to them and verify the details. Except EBAY don't know what the hell I'm talking about and say they've never heard of such a situation.
Edit: sending a copy of the label won't help since they, er, can't see a label on their end. It is literally blank because ebay's system has gone wacky. They literally need ebay to contact them and verify the details before they'll talk to me but ebay are just like "??????????"Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Because his name was on the label! And because I put a return label on it!
Literally all the details were on the label! T doesn't know why the shop sent it away - he thinks they made a mistake but either way that literally. Doesn't. Matter. Totally and completely irrelevant. Not the issue at all.
The fact remains I couldn't get anyone to investigate or track the bl**y thing and find out where it's ended up because of some technical glitch meaning they couldn't see any label details on their system and couldn't verify who I was! THAT'S the issue. Collect+ say talk to ebay, ebay say to talk to Collect+, collect+ say talk to ebay...
Edit: they're looking at a blank label when they bring the tracking number up because of a tech fault. Despite the fact I have all the d*mn details since they can't verify that on their computer screen they "can't discuss details" which also means I can't launch a "please find my parcel for the love of god" request because that involves discussing details.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

You seem to have TWO rather dubious statements from collect+
1) - The parcel has been rejected by the shop (Whuich they cannot prove - in fact the evidence seems to indicate the reverse)
2) - Ebay labels show as blank - which ebay deny ? ( Hence my suggestion that you send them a copy as downloaded by YOU to stick on to the parcel)
Print that label, scan it and attach it to an e-mail so you have proof
Print the e-mail notification to the customer, with his e-mail telling you this was the notification. Scan it and attach that to your e-mail as well.
Note - Any misunderstanding between collect+ employees (the shop and teh driver) - is NOT your problem.
Note 2 - Any mismatch between ebay and collect+ IT systems is NOT your problem.
You printed the label, attached it to the parcel and took it to your local shop. Customer got the e-mail saying "It's here" and went to fetch it - IT wasn't there !
Pay up mr collect+ !
Edit - They (collect+ don't need a tracking number - the bar code has the number printed underneath and if you take a decent photo of teh label, that will be enough for them to follow it - not quite sure why they want a "tracking number"0 -

You're still misunderstanding, somehow.
a) Collect+ ARE NOT claiming anything. Collect+ WILL NOT confirm or deny anything. Collect+ WILL NOT talk to me. Collect+ have issued NO statements on the whereabouts, condition, or anything else about my parcel. T contacted THE SHOP and THE SHOP told him they had returned it. The tracking information has not updated since it arrived at the shop. The last entry is "delivered" on 16th feb but Collect+ WILL NOT investigate because they CAN NOT verify my identity as the sender of the parcel so WILL NOT act on anything I ask them to do right now.
b) eBay DO NOT deny that there is a glitch. The PROBLEM is collect+ asking ebay to contact them specifically about this parcel. Asking ebay to act ON MY BEHALF and obtain information from collect+. This concept is strange and foreign to ebay who have "never heard of doing that".
c) Really, sending them a copy won't help. They have NOTHING TO VERIFY IT AGAINST. Nobody is denying I bought a label. Nobody is denying it made it as far as the shop. But I cannot get further information because of the ebay glitch, and ebay won't contact collect+ and file the complaint on my behalf - which is what collect+ want them to do. They have all the information I have. But until ebay contact them and verify that I am who I say I am (no amount of me attaching x, y, z and 1 through 10 to emails is going to help) they will not discuss the parcel with me and subsequently won't investigate the mystery of the missing package.
Anyway, it's literally the CEO's problem now. I told him to find it or give me my money within 14 days or I'm taking the company through the court.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

They don't want a tracking number. They can put it in (or the barcode number, which I also have, 6 of one half a dozen) and see exactly the information I see but since there are no address/name details coming up they cannot verify that I'm the person who sent the parcel and so won't discuss the account with me!
When you phone up they request a tracking number and THEN bring up the label and get you to confirm the details from the label that they can see on their screen. Except in this case there's nothing to confirm!
Sending a photo of the label, a copy of the label, a photo of a scan of the label or any other form of the label will not help. They still have nothing on their system to compare it against. Until the label details come up on THEIR system FROM ebay (which either requires the glitch to be fixed or ebay to contact them on my behalf and pass the details on manually) they won't discuss anything with me.
There is - literally - nothing I can do.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100
