email ceo and tell him the whole saga. it is his responsibility to sort this mess out not yours. you have done your bit. and the couriers have messed up

Phoned ebay as per collect+ request and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Collect+ say there's an error on ebay end so they aren't getting sent any label details and can't talk to anyone ebay have to do it. But nobody at ebay has any knowledge of this happening. Ebay person going to escalate it up the chain to find someone who knows what the hell is going on.

    This is ridiculous.

  • After all that mess I had with Neath Port Talbot Council saying I owed them money for overpaid housing benefit and summoning me to court, I got a letter a few months back saying I didn't owe anything and they had cancelled the court proceedings. Then today I get a letter saying I owe £187 housing benefit overpayments. I could have hit the roof. It was so stressful dealing with them the first time. I don't get housing benefit anymore and haven't for 8 months so I have no idea what the hell they are on about they have threatened to send an attachment of earnings to my employer which would be so embarrasing. I have already written my very stern response letter to send tomorrow.

Anyway now that I have cut up all my credit cards and they debt can not go up accept for if they insist on continuing to charge interest. I have re calculated all my debt including things I am contesting and overdrafts and it is a staggering £22,393.63 but as I have no means of increasing it myself anymore it should finally start coming down there is no way I can keep doing this back and forth all the time. It is going to go.

My and the hubby haven't used a credit card for 2 months now and surprise surprise we are still alive. We have had to be a bit inventive with food towards the end of the month but we obviously can survive.

I have made a step by step plan of what is to be paid in what order and made a money folder all the debts and money related things in so I have it all in one place. I am so fed up of being in debt now.

No more half hearted attempts it's on now.

To that end I need to go make some money thanks for reading my ramblings lol x

I'm pleased to say that I've managed to get past my target hurray! Today I've done two mystery shops for £30, 8 Textbroker articles for £14, sold a book on Amazon for £2.28 after postage, £1.20 for a couple of surveys on principia and one on mysurvey for 80p.

I've got a couple more mystery shops booked in for later this week, I'm going to keep going and see if I can make it to £500 by the end of the month.

I am all for going straight to the top these days. They get paid enough so should be held accountable.

Well he said the strangest thing in the email - he's going to look into it anyway as I've been given the right old runaround - but that my contract is with ebay NOT collectplus which makes no sense to me. Yes, I bought and paid for the postage through the ebay-linked system but... ebay aren't a courier. It was never going to be ebay... delivering... the parcel...

Thankfully the buyer is endlessly patient (and has also called both companies and had the same to me/to you/to me/to you so knows I'm not making it up, I guess?) and is not insisting on a refund of the item price if Collect+ do not refund me. I feel bad for him that he paid £50 for a camera he never received, but at the same time that's more than a small relief as it's a fair wad of cash.

Still, now the CEO is involved I live in hope that I'll get my £50 + £5.72 postage back and then I can refund my poor buyer (who is probably regretting every second of organising an alternative courier)

  • Got a HUGE boost today: £500 grant towards a writing course :j It leaves me with £250 of the cost remaining, so it would be great if I can earn all of that over the next 2 months. Got £30 due from SB any day now, so I'm going to put that towards paying off the £100 deposit I had to put on my CCto confirm my place! Really excited (not to mention nervous) and even more motivated to earn extra cash :)
