I doubt you were alone re: David Essex. He was an original poster boy wasn't he?!?! Must've been the hair :rotfl:
Ah, that explains it then. I'd forgotten about your baby, sorry:o
As for David Essex it was the combination of blue eyes and lustrous black eyelashes that did it for me;)0 -
I've won £1 with geotask.
If only Ihad a salaried job, I may get yo be a millionaire :rotfl:0 -
Ok, so im a little behind, folks.

Battling a nasty cold ( I cant catch a break right now!)
But another item will go on ebay today.
Survey sites... oh the frustration! was 3/4 of my way through a lengthy survey when it told me my internet had lost connection...couldnt retrieve it after that, grrrrr
Will keep looking though!0 -
Wow, just popped in for a quick catch-up since early this morning and there are pages of posts! Brilliant amounts of money made, loads of new ideas to try and everyone so cheerful:j. What a fun place this thread is:T. Congratulations everyone for making it what it is :A
Received £9 from a postal survey and £11.22 from Amazon, otherwise nothing to report. I ran someone to the airport early this morning but it's part of the volunteer drivers' scheme I'm involved with so although I'll get petrol costs I won't have made any money as such so have nothing to claim from that. I must be odd but I really enjoyed the journey in the dark and rain and it was largely on motorways which was a rare treat:j. I know lots of people hate them but after the narrow B roads round here it was a big adventure:rotfl:
Might not be back for a while, am going to have a snooze:)0 -
you used to be able to sell them on ebay but not so sure now.
but you can sell ebooks on amazon
https://kdp.amazon.com/
did they ever tell you if they grew prize winning carrots?
Thanks for that Aesop, I might rewrite the "Carrots" article and see if I can get say £2.50 for it ? Comne to think of it I might stick it on e/b as well in printed form.
I don't know if the buyer grew show standard carrots using it or not, but it is the exact method I used to take "Best vegetable in show" the year before [with 3 carrots] and has some stuff in it which is Not in the books and some which I invented myself. If they followed my instructions and assuming reasonable ground, they would grow carrots which would be an asset to any show bench !
I'm pretty sure fleabay stopped allowing anything to be sold whick did not have a physical delivery attached.some years ago now, so you'd have to print and post or send a CD I think.0 -
Preloved - it's free to join and free to list. Don't know if they have a big user base but you could try it and see how it goes. Quidco are currently offering 60p for a new member sign up to Preloved.
Sprinkle.com - visit the site everyday for the chance to win £10 Amazon voucher. I've not won but have read positive comments over on the competitions thread.
Ilovecashback - visit the site everyday to find out if you've won £150. Not seen any posts from winners.
Cheers Aspella. I've tried preloved before, but not much luck on that one. Maybe I'll give it another go. The other sites are new to me though, so I will certainly look into them.£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -
A cheque for £50 came in the post today from lloyds. It was cashback from my home insurance and should have been paid last May. To be honest I had forgotten all about it. The strange thing is that my insurance is due for renewal next month. OH thinks they sent it now so we will stay with them. Anyway I am well chuffed as I am only 1 day behind on the challenge.
Thanks Aesop we had a lovely break, the weather was cold but dry.Jan £10 a day £326.75/£3100 -

Got a £5 offer on a £12.50 item :T  :j
Not sure if you do this already but i find if i set a minimum acceptable amount and someone puts in a bid under that quite often they will put in a few higher bids. I found it worked well - probably because they got the notification immediately after they made the first offer....might be worth a try if you don't do alreadyDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go
