Thanks for the warning. Although I have no idea how they would know.

not heard this myself and am on several facebook groups where they are all uploading receipts within accepted limits. ie the app tells you when you have hit your limit on receipts daily and shops

If it's any help, I've uploaded two receipts on the same day from two places 150 miles apart - as it happens both were mine but they've been accepted. Both were for petrol and chocolate!

  • Not sure if you do this already but i find if i set a minimum acceptable amount and someone puts in a bid under that quite often they will put in a few higher bids. I found it worked well - probably because they got the notification immediately after they made the first offer....might be worth a try if you don't do already ;)

Occasionally I do that FC but usually I wipe out that box which allows offers - on the basis that if I wanted the punters to decide what to pay I'd auction it !

But the software puts the box in on every listing and you have to positively remove it so a few do slip through the net.

Why would anyone pay full price if I have the "Make offer" box open ?

Mine has it disabled by default and I have to ENABLE it manually.

You'd be surprised though - most of what I sell goes for full price without offers being made.

  • Wow this thread certainly is moving fast. It's great to see everyone doing so well with bringing in those extra £££'s. :T my total is £27.57 so far from interest, vouchers, free pr!me membership and money saved on purchases. I've got over £70 coming my way in cashback and mb profits but wont add it until it hits my account.

    Happy Sunday everyone.

I think it depends on what you are selling. Sometimes I might put something over the odds of what I expect and would like it to sell at with a best offer, and if they give me something reasonable I will accept I will let it go at the offer price.

other times I definitely turn it off as do not want loads of automatic rejects :rotfl:
