love your thinking. of to work out how to make DS earn his own

Funny enough Aesop, I've been toying with the idea of child modelling amongst other things. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm very, VERY, wary of big brother and child protection type stuff, but wondering if theres a way I can let them do a little bit safely and sensibly. Not forever, just to help add a bit more to their funds for the future and before they are old enough for the overall situation to have an influence on their mindsets if you know what I mean. I don't even like their photos on social media if I can help it though, so not sure theres a happy medium there.

OH's idea was to just attach the fitbit to them (or the dogs) instead of us. They must run around for miles each day and would rack up points far quicker than us :rotfl:

Thanks! £7.50 to my next voucher (and book!) so I should get that at some point this month. Averaging about 2.5 vouchers every 3 months right now.

£10.67 away from processing a withdrawal on Vivatic (about a week probably?) and £3.15 away on panelbase if I ever get one I'm not screened out of :rotfl:

Still had nothing from the tree folk either. Been almost 2 months now.

  • Oh I remember well the times of having young children and the demands it brings but enjoy the time!! It soon passes and before you know it, your kids are 22 and 24 and we use them as taxis when we go out. Payback time :D

Finances get easier as well. I remember well scraping money together for the odd night out.

Think we are all missing a trick. Did anyone see the news this morning? One couple are bottling fresh air and selling it to the chinese at £80 a jar and they are buying it!!

Nice to be "On the telly" - but I'd have tried to keep that one to myself I think ! :rotfl:
