Soooo jealous. The first time time I saw it, David Essex was in the lead and was superb. I sometimes wonder if we'll ever get a night out again with both girls so young right now, but at least it saves money! ;)

Well done on your earnings today. Building up nicely :T

Oh I remember well the times of having young children and the demands it brings but enjoy the time!! It soon passes and before you know it, your kids are 22 and 24 and we use them as taxis when we go out. Payback time :D

Finances get easier as well. I remember well scraping money together for the odd night out.

Think we are all missing a trick. Did anyone see the news this morning? One couple are bottling fresh air and selling it to the chinese at £80 a jar and they are buying it!!

Yay! Out of the blocks with 10 in the pot for an old shelving unit.

I have actually earned money this month by dog walking and exam invigilating but I won't count it until the money is in my pocket, which should be next week for the dog walking and the end of the month for invigilating (this should be about 200).
Monday I'll be listing some more things to sell on Facebook and I will also see about ebaying some stuff.

well done. I used to do exam invigilating but was never a qyalified invigilator just inhouse trained :/

Looking forward to it!! Have already worked out that if I can get them 5 paper rounds each, the rate of inflation for minimum pay should mean they can afford their own flat by 14 though. That should help ;) :rotfl:

Amazing really. Does anyone remember the story of someone proving you could sell old rope? They picked some up on the beach and flogged it for a fair amount. Credit wheres its due for even trying! It truly should serve as inspiration to us all. Try anything! If its legal, of course ;)
